Hmm...Which team is recruiting whose commits? Looks like UT is the team chasing after UF recruits and not the other way around. I guess that makes UT ahead

Wow. That's a newsflash. We're chasing Florida? Who knew. Everyone but Alabama is chasing Florida, guy. You take away one of their recruits and it's a double bonus. I hope we are on every single mf'er on your commit list.

They signed two. And like I said, they have 7 WRs and they only play about 4 of them. Dude would never have seen the field. He'd be in the same position Debose is, standing on the sidelines in street clothes. Debose was encouraged to get the surgery and take a redshirt. He could have played without it after a week or two.

They signed Andre Debose from last years class. LOL at UF encouraging debose to sit the bench. He would have been an important part to UF's offense this year if he didnt have an injury.

Stephen Alli should be a senior in HS right now just like Patton. Patton is much more gifted right now

You've got to be joking. This dude is not a guy that gets immediate play unless you are just completely devoid of talent on your roster. He's not that great of a prospect. Notice how much interest there was in this thread before you came along like a white knight defending your pathological liar of a coach.

As someone who has mostly lurked on this board, I'll commend you on being one of the most knowledgable members here. But the idea that Debose could have played this year is off the mark. Florida would kill or die to have him available to play. WR is the Achilles Heel of this team.

You are right that Patton would not see action as a true freshman this year.

You're probably right considering the need there. The surgery was probably what was best for Andre. I was looking forward to seeing him play actually. I don't think he's another Percy Harvin though. He's a different type of player -- especially in the package you guys are going to run for Brantley.

Its ok guys. I acknowledge that you are happy with your current class. I accept that some peoples trash (brown, newton) can be another's treasure.

Personally, I hope those guys do well wherever they land.

Just so long as they have one off week per year,

Orgeron knows what he is doing and he loves Brown. He will get more out of him than you ever would there. Newton transferred out willingly, so I don't see how you think he's a cast-off. I think he would have started over Brantley. He and Brantley shared second duties behind Tebow and he's a much better fit for your system.

If Urban lets drunk drivers back onto the team, he would allow a star QB back on.

Maybe trash... but DT and QB isn't a strong point for UF. How many NFL players have there been from that position?

LOL alrite guys I am done for now. I guess the good thing is that the rivalry between our teams seems to be back to normal. I guess you can give kiffin credit for that.

i loled at CUMs comment at the end. i think i like the Kiffin-Meyer rivalry as much as ESPN does.

im glad that our staff doesnt give up on anyone, regardless of their status. but i think this one is a long shot. he seems pretty solid on his commitment not to mention i thinks its hard to pull someone that is already commited that plans on enrolling early.
