They will make room to keep him from going to UT. They had no need for Scroggins till UT offered and the same for Riley. CPC doesnt want to lose anything to us if he can help it.

Yes but if you look at the classes prior to last year's Tennessee really didn't sign a high quality of prospects at DB where USC did. There is going to be a huge depth issue at safety next year if they dont get at least 1 good one on this class.

The same can't be said at USC. JMO.

I don't remember signing any high profile DBs last year. We also lost mike edwards, Dmo and will lose EB and someone else i can't think of. We need to pick up 2-3 quality DB's in this class. Our best shot is Menzie, Dixon, Wright, Elam, Riley in that order IMO. If we miss on all them, you'll see us go after hampton, riggs etc i assume

You don't remember signing Janzen or Darren Myles Jr or Mike Edwards (you know, the guy you mentioned getting kicked off)? There's also the possibility of Teague (last years class) being moved to DB since we have the WR's coming n that we do.

Demetrius Wright seems like he has alot of potential with his size would really like for the vols to land him...Any word on him Lord Vader i heard he was saving up for a visit or w.e but not much more. Is he a usc lock in your opinion??

Wright is not a USC lock by any means. Apparently, USC is his top choice right now, but his dad would definitely like him to get away from that area. If he makes it to UT for a visit, I think we definitely have a good chance to pull him.

If I remember correctly, there was a lot of talk in spring and fall practice about Prentiss Wagner by the coaching staff.

I thought Wright was kinda down on USC because of there depth? I sure hope Ahmad Dixon does'nt end up like this cat and say he is comming back with his mom, and never make it back up.

Wright just didn't have the money a few weeks ago. He'll be back once he has the funds to do so. Dixon and family have to find time to get back. Sometimes it isn't easy for a recruit to trek across country with family at this time of the year.

well i mean they dont exactly have the ideal amount of time to get back..to get back would be this wknd for the vandy game..I understand that they dont have to come back just for a game but i feel like it would be more of a sell for the coaches. Any idea if Dwright saved up enough?

Not sure. They don't have to visit during the season. It definitely helps, but it isn't necessary. I don't think Wright is an EE, either.

O ok i didnt know that ab teauge and nuke, This Wright just looks impressive and depending on what happens with him and jj i wouldnt mind seeing him and ahmad dixon starting next yr. just because the amount of experience we would get.
