He wants to make a splash and that would be committing to UT. If he was going to committ to USC he would have already done so. It would be no big deal. They already have Barkley and they certainly don't covet him like the Vols do.

This situation is all too similar to the Janzen Jackson commitment to UT. Everyone, including his dad thought he was going to be a Tiger, then he slid on the Vol Hat. This reminds me a whole lot like a Kiffen set up. Don't count out the dream team just yet.

I agree man, I'm with you. Everyone just needs to be realistic at this point. If he shocks us, all the more better.

He's not a stud QB in comparison to other recruiting years, but he would fill a hole, and he would bring other offensive recruits with him. However, I'm going to sit down and watch his announcement tomorrow with the full expectation that he will be a trojan. If he shocks me, then great.

The feeling I had for Bryce Brown the night before was the antithesis of the feeling I'm having for scroggo right now. It's the beauty of recruiting.
