Relax guys. The fight has just begun! There is a good chance that JS will de-committ before NSD. He will see the light. He has a great senior season to concentrate on first.

Tennessee will start to make their turn around this Fall and USC will do well with QB's that JS will come to realize that will play in front of him for the majority of his career.

Relax, JS will come around to being a VOL!!! Stay in touch Jessie!

Exactly, few people wanted JS because they thought he was going to be an amazing QB, they wanted him for his impact on our recruiting. If we don't get him now, we aren't that much better off with him in February (unless the prospects of him actually being able to start in 2010 have somehow improved, and I don't think they have). I would have loved to have gotten his commitment today, though....this class would have been off to the races. But, it appears it was over as soon as the USC offer was in hand.

I will say this... if Scroggins does choose USC today. I don't want him if he decommits later. Unless he is going to bring some other players with him. By choosing USC today, we lose out on quite a few recruits.

If he does (and sounds like he already has) committed to USC, how well did he play everyone with his myspace update the other day. WTF was that all about, giving us false hope. He knew we would see it, what a tool.

I said it on this board last night and the next 20 post were UT posters saying "wait till the announcement, he belongs to UT"

I like the passion but most posters are still in denial.

It is very well known here on the west coast what went down and as I stated yesterday, it was confirmed by sources very very close to jesse.

I never said that i had an inside track. i was at the BB commit...found out before that BB was all vol. I have nothing like that here. I have no reason to think that Jesse is a vol adn no reason to think he is USC. But am enjoying the show. and Hooker? really guys?

Exactly. looking back now though, i cant help but wonder if this may be a slight part of the reason he went to USC. he knows they dont need his name for recruiting. UT does. im sure thats not it, but it makes you wonder.

Let's be real. There are two types of people on this board.

There are those of us believe that Jesse may still pick UT and that all this is a ploy, and if or when he picks USC are just going to be like "oh well, all of that hoopla for nothing, good luck kid."

And then there are you who are saying he's USC bound. But if you're so dad gone sure that he's gone to USC, then why do you keep coming back here and posting? No other recruit gets a ton of attention when he has committed somewhere else. We normally get a few "crap" "oh well, good luck" "didn't need him anyways" and then their thread disappears.

No, you others know in the back of your mind that even though everything seems to be pointing to USC (and it does, from WHAT WE KNOW or HAVE HEARD), that we have a head coach that has surprised us before, and that this is a scenario that has changed and blown up and became a monster in itsself, and we know that Kiffin loves to blow stuff up and make things monsters, but you just keep checking on here, not to tell us he's USC, but because you keep hoping that someone is going to post something on here that says maybe he's NOT USC, and that maybe he IS coming here.

Face it. If he was 101% USC, you wouldn't be coming back here saying that he was and that we should give up. But the fact is, until 3 o clock, when he puts on that hat, he's NOT 100% USC, and he won't be until February of next year.

So I'm going to hold on to hope, and I"m going to keep thinking that maybe it's a ploy and that maybe he will wise up and pick Tennessee, and hope that a few of us, even though we don't know anything on the inside, had enough faith in our university and our coaching staff to say "I told you so."
