Besides, I believe we would have recruited over him in 2011. And before you or anybody else accuses me of sour grapes, that's at least the 4th time I've said that.

scroggins committing to USC is just like Aaron Douglas committing to Tennessee. Both are going to the school they dreamed about from birth.. has nothing to do in either case with anything else IMO

It also sounds like from the USC article his dad has chosen USC and his dream came true. You cant win if your parents already decided for you

Gee, I dunno....maybe it had something to do with UT being 2500 miles away.....or the fact that USC is a national power, competing for NC's EVERY year, and is 20 minutes down the road. Then there is the fact that we were 5-7 last year, and we have a NEW coaching staff whose offensive system at THIS school is completely unproven. But you are probably right.....it had nothing to do with that, and everything to do with our coaches who brought in a top 10 class last year in about 1.5 months, being totally inept. Some people that are "fans" simply amaze me with their expectations.

im not one of those nay sayers that bad mouth ever top recruit that dosent come here after everyone was so hot for him, but i think he is overrated, but i think he will be decent QB if he ever sees the field. but nothing outstanding, hey may put up good numbers but it will be mostly a product of the talent around him as for what we do, is go after the man that is verry softly commited to PSU and a better QB paul jones, and grayson both, 2 best options ive seen so far.

Hey, we get this season started and play like a tennesse team and get some good wins we'll turn some heads,and steal some more recruits.just let it play out :D

sorry guys. just pissed we didn't get him. im afraid this will hurt our offensive recruiting,it doesent look like its going to good.and lord knows we need some more studs. just blowing off steam
