And the deadline can freak kids out. Its easier to commit and decommit then to try and convince them to give you another deadline.

This is how recruiting works.

He committed because there for a while he was under the radar. Now that he's a 6'7 blip on it the sharks are beginning to circle.

He's not going to stick with SDSU. He may not be a Vol, but he won't be an Aztec.

Maybe He's one of those guys that would rather be a big fish in a small pond. But after reading his interview it does seem he is more competitive than that. IMO he will come here unless he starts getting a lot more attention from the bigger west coast schools.

They had 4 players drafted in 2008:

Kevin O'Connell QB
Tyler Schmitt LB
Brett Swain WR
Chaz Schilens WR

The only guy I could find that was drafted in 09 was OG Lance Louis. It may have been 2008 I was thinking of.

The also haven't won a bowl game in the past 37 years and their 2008 season record was 2-10.

7:30-2:30 but close enough. i was in 3rd block which is my student assistant block.... basically 2 hours of doing absolutely nothing. o and a lunch break in between! :p

You guys thinking that he will stick with SDSU are hilarious. Their program is a joke, everyone here thinks it is a joke. They draw less than 10,000 seats per game in a 65,000 seat stadium that they share with the Chargers. He is staying committed to them until he finds a better program. A safety school if you will. Mark my words "there is zero chance that this guy signs with SDSU." It may not be UT, but definitely not SDSU. I think however, when he visits Knoxville he and his family will crap their pants and commit ASAP.

But its just a known fact like you all have been saying... UT is just 1000000000 times better than SDSU. why would he need to check it out first if its just known that its that much better?

Sometimes you just have to get down to a guys level for him to understand you. Are you sure there isn't a team up north that you would be better suited to follow? A lot of big ten fans would appreciate your kind of stupidity!

up north? ha uhh the place where i live is actually further south than some parts of kentucky. and no, i hate the big ten. i bleed orange.
