You know...the way USC recruits...they should never lose a game unless it's in the NC title game to a team of similar talent...

This is ridiculous...they recruit like this every year...they just cherry pick exactly who they want...

At some point Carroll should start getting drilled by local and national media about how he manages to lose a game a year to an inevitably inferior Pac-10 team

Don't you think Mac Brown should hear the same thing?

I always talk about this with my friend. If it wasnt for Vince Young and the national title Mack Brown would be on the hot seat if he wasnt already fired. Can't overlook national championship imunity.

Won't matter. If Prater really wants to play for USC, he will get on the field at least as a sophomore. I personally think he's that good to start competing that early. They are starting two juniors this year, so if they have solid years (Williams and Johnson) and both (or even one of them) jump at the NFL then there's plenty of room for Woods and Prater to still both do good things at USC in the next 1 or 2 years.

Well if the computers are doing their job then what does it matter? I agree, in principal, but I'm just saying. There is talent in the Pac-10, but the teams jsut aren't strong. USC should easily win every game with that roster. Don't get me started on Mack Brown and Bob Stoops. Inevitably, every single year, one of them comes out talking about how he refuses to lobby for his team to be in the title game, but then shows up making media rounds the next week.
