'10 DB Lamarcus Joyner

Just an FYI from someone close to this recruitment, Tennessee was making serious ground before the OTL segment. I don't know whether it was NCAA mandated or not, but for whatever reason the Tennessee coaches told LaMarcus after the incident that he could not attend UT unless he walked-on.

So would this be further proof that ESPN hates UT?

With Joyner being listed at 5'8", anyone know his family height? Father, mother? Hope he is going to grow some at 5'8" 166lbs.

He should be in attendance at the UF-FSU game as an unofficial. I doubt we have any real chance at him though. Seems like all OSU to me.

I don't see how this is true. Doesn't make any sense at all. I'm calling bs as well...

It is 100% not true. It would have to be a MAJOR violation for the NCAA to tell an institution it couldnt recruit a specific student athlete. If it were that serious, then most likely, no OTHER school could recruit the student. This is straight from the mouth of a person I graduated college with that works for the NCAA in eligibility.

And Joyner will be a Buckeye, unless FSU hires a superstar DC.

So with him being really high on ND,FSU, OSU, and two of them losing their coaches does that give us a chance to steal him from the buckeyes??

I'm not too sure about that. Didn't Copeland get banned from even visiting us for like 6 months or something after Kiffin just mentioned him on twitter? Something that would get him on TV would probably be ever worse.

I didnt hear that about Copeland. I cant see punishing a prospective student-athlete because an intern types something wrong onto a website. Its all water under the bridge anyways.....Joyner is a Buckeye unless Jimbo knocks it out of the park with his DC hire and the guy is an amazing recruiter as well.

volwarrior33, your sources is correct. Tennessee told Lamarcus uncle they couldn't recruit him due to ESPN footage. It's no problem because we never had a chance of signing Lamarcus anyway.

once again, the writing was on the wall. no one wants to pay attention

Bobby bowden leavin was the best thing that happened to the noles. they have a definitive direction now.

in a week, they went from 30+ class to top 10.

kinda scary
