"Honestly, I don't know too much about them and this new staff but I have obviously seen them play," Jones said. "I guess you could say Tennessee has moved up my list. Boy it feels good to get that first offer under your belt.

"I called up coach (Eddie) Gran and spoke with coach (Lane) Kiffin. We had a great talk and they talked with my mom. I mean we were on the phone for like an hour. This was a good night for us."

If I'm not mistaking, this is the guy that lead Dade County in sacks last year.

Will play WR this coming year for his HS.

I love that this staff is already on the go. Just like Kiffin said, there is no time to rest.

I am very impressed that they were able to pull the class they did (and its not over) and it looks as if they were working equally as hard getting ready for the 2010 class and then they just jump all over it.

Go get 'em! Orange Swarm was an understatement.

kid just transfered into my alma malter miami palmetto... we have not produced much talent the last few years...only jamaal berry who i hear is a big pot head from some friends of mine i still have down there who went to school with... this kid looks like a great prospect hopefully he likes that we offered him first

"USC is my favorite college right now," Jones said. "I talked with Todd McNair, but I only got to talk to him briefly because I was at school. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow when I have more time."

"Really, I want to play offense in college because I think my ceiling is higher on that side of the ball and I think that I'm a playmaker with the ball in my hands," Jones said.


"I wouldn't mind going across country to California," he said. "Over the summer, the program that I train with is going to take a trip out there. Guys like Demetrius Pettway and a bunch of other guys from Homestead."

6'6 230 and plays smooth as a WR. also had 20 sacks in his junior year.

this guy is going to blow up. supposedly he may need a little work with grades, but i hope miami goes after him. ill take him at either TE or DE.

10.7 would make him one of the fastest high school track athletes in TN this year.

Hopefully TE. With his size and speed he would be like Leonard Pope and Vernon Davis.

Delvin received an offer from USC, but has stated that he's focusing on academics right now and keeping his options open.

By The Bank...has offers from South Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Michigan and USC...supposed to hear about an offer from OSU this week and is coming up for the spring game...would prefer to play offense in college.
