'10 DE Delvin Jones

He wants to play on offense, so that makes me assume that we like him as a big WR target.

Got to disagree. He will probably be given a shot at WR wherever he goes, but he'll be moved to end.

He didn't show well at any events where he tried to play wideout/TE. He has the speed and size to be an elite DE, but until he proves he can run clean routes and catch the ball out of his break, he's just fantasizing about playing on the offensive side of the ball.

Just as a thought....I know this kid wants to play WR/TE.....

Could you imagine the nastiness with this guy lining up next to Montorri?? Opposing OL's would look like middle schoolers, IMO.

I hope we land this kid...it seems we are in the thick of it right now. He really likes us and has narrowed it to four. 25% chance to land this stud.

Hes a straight up beast to be honest. He can play defense or offense in college. He wants to play on offense because his finalists are recruiting him as an athlete.

“I have a lot of interest in the University of Tennessee,” Jones said. “In fact they are definitely in my top 5.”

He's also taking an official visit here, and says we're recruiting him as an ATH, not just a WR or DE
