Guys we have two very good DEs committed. He is a DE...he would have to beat one of those guys out. Not saying he would not but he is not a priority. We also have our DEs coming back next year. And a pretty good one in the 2 deep coming back. We are loaded at that spot. We neet a DT but why is anyone questioning this kids choice if not UT. Smith and Miller are very good pick ups. We need 2-3 DB recruits that is where it worries me these kids are not jumping to play here. They can come in and start as true fresh if they are good. If Rogan leaves we have 2 CB spots up for grabs. Gordon being the only talent unseen to compete there. All the seen talent does not look very good. We have just Jackson and Myles to play safety competently. If we have Waggner on the field we are in trouble. I really hope there is some way we can keep Rogan here another year.

I agree, we need a couple more ol, db, and a lb. I would be happy then. I'm looking forward to the two all star games, I think we get 2 to 4 guys there.

My wife went to Auburn.

Knoxville and that area of Alabama are in no way comparable. There isn't anything about those areas even remotely comparable.

I could care less about other parts of East Tennessee. You could go 50 miles from any point in the South and find bunches of toothless hicks.

I used to have to go to Cincinnati several times a year for business and I can tell you there are hicks there as well. A lot of people think that hicks/rednecks are only found in the south but the truth is there they are in every part of the country whether they want to admit it or not.

auburn stadium game atmosphere is one of the better ones in SEC especially when it is a night game...corey may have went to one of the big games...i would prob rank it behind TN, FLA, and LSU in no particular order for those 3 but Auburn gameday would prob be after those big 3

I agree. I despise every SEC team except Tennessee, but that bird flying through the stadium was amazing.

They have nothing else in that area but Auburn football...there is nothing to look at or think about except it. It is a waisteland with a stadium in the middle.

this sort of suggest to me that the parents are giving final approval on the school...Tn is only one they haven't been too yet so that would be huge to get another visit.

Q: What are the schools still in the race for you at this point?

A: All the schools that have been really on me, but Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State, Miami, and probably thats it.

Q: What do you feel about FSU, Jimbo Fisher and what is going on there?

A: Its something new, so like just everyone has been liking it, a lot of committs have been going there so it seems like everyone is liking it there. [ As a follow up Coach Gran is now at FSU and was at UT] Yeah umm, sometime after I come back he is going to come with a few coaches from FSU to come to my house. He was my recruiter at Tennessee, yeah.

Q: Does Calvin Smith committing to UT hold any weight with you?

A: Its good, because if I do go there I will have somebody I can know and talk to, but I am not going to make my decision based on that.

Q: There are a couple guys who are committed to FSU on your team have they been talking to you at all?

A: Yeah, umm, like [Jeff] Luc has got my phone number, he has been talking to me a couple of times. We talk like Come to FSU, Come to FSU, its nothing serious like my roommate (Corey Miller) he is committed to Tennessee, and its all night. I'm talking like 12 at night to 4 in the morning, like Corey Miller, shut up.

Corey is a serious Vol Commit. I like the fact that he and Smith are relentless in their recruiting others to UT. That's the difference with solid commits and those on the fence. Miller and Smith LOVE UT.
