'10 FL DE Corey Lemonier

Man im not getting into this trashing each others school, my cousin goes to UT and I have a lot of respect for ya'll. All I will say is that you are in no position to flame on our program.

Lemonier wasn't coming here Eddie Gran or no.

Luc was not a big loss as I have said many times. Good luck to him, but we will have linebackers in this class that will have better careers.

????? Dont know if you watched yesterdays game but our O looked very solid with a RS freshman QB against a team whom everyone thought was going to destroy us. What I meant by what I said was with commits like Elam, Luc, Joyner and prolly Jones he has a very good chance of being apart of something special by turning our D around and I think he will see that....You act like FSU hasnt had any success sending kids to the NFL lol.

Teams tend to show up when their coach is coaching their last game. Especially when that coach is Bobby Bowden. Hell, even Tennessee got up for Kentucky last year to send Fulmer out a winner. The same team that lost to Wyoming.

Not this.

Do I wish we kept Gran? Yes, but how much of FSU's recruiting success are you guys heaping on him? I'd argue a bit too much. Remember last year when we had a brand new staff and landed a few guys we weren't really supposed to land? This is happening to FSU and most of their commitments grew up as FSU fans so it makes sense for them.

Not to mention when ALL our returning linebackers become healthy again.

FSU is having success recruiting because of their prime location mixed with the freshness of a new coaching staff. If we had this much talent coming out of Tennessee than I guarantee you Tennessee would land a majority of it.

Our O has showed for the most part all year so its not like it was just for this one game. Our D finally showed up and had they played like that all year we would have won a lot more games which has nothing to do with Jimbo....Ya'll are putting way to much stock in Eddie Gran, he isnt the reason we have landed these recruits. Luc and Joyner were going to FSU no matter what and both developed a solid relationship with Coley before Gran even got here.

Remember the names of Taylor, Frazier, King, Lathers, Askew, Thorton, Nelson, Reviez, Williams (if he sticks), and possibly others before Feb.3. We'll be ok, they'll learn the system, and a couple of them will be studs.

I agree that Gran isn't the reason but he does help a little.

Yea I mean he didnt hurt thats for sure. IMO he will help out a lot more with a recruit like Lemonier who i've heard within the past couple days would like to stay in state which would mean either us our Miami. I know Auburn fans think he's all theres but I believe will get him back our way within the next couple of weeks.

Scalpem, it would not shock me to see FSU...your guys are on fire! Though your boy Joyner needs to quick talking smack and getting burned.

Haha I hear you. I was hoping him a Luc would play in the Army game instead because the UA game seems to be more about flash and fun. The Army game IMO is a lot more serious and intense. Could be wrong but jmo.

He will be good, that was a fantastic play.

Though I believe Taylor looked comparable to Luc as far as talent, though different LB positions.

yes, though getting burned after all the trash talking was definitely more embarrassing.

The 3 best players IMO in the secondary for this recruiting class are: Demar Dorsey, Jonathan Dowling, and Josh Shaw. I hate they are all commited to Florida but this is the truth. They all had interceptions in the UA game today :ermm:

A couple of those picks were gifts. I wouldnt put a lot of stock into this game, there was a lot of individual play out there which resulted into a lot of sloppiness on the field. The one player that did impress me though was Easley....Dont know wtf he's thinking by going with UF though.

Not exactly.

It's nice you base this off of a HS All-Star game where:

1.) these quarterbacks are running a bland offense
2.) they are playing with receivers they have never played with
3.) they are being pressured by better defensive linemen than they have to deal with as a unit in a HS football season.
4.) it doesn't matter even if you have a poor game, your scholarship offer is not going to get pulled more than likely.

I think Florida has some great d-backs, but to crown them all as the best is way over the top.

Miller was his roommate ad had to hear about UT all day every day. Those Barn Boys were in his ear too. He's as good as advertised, and would be welcome addition to UT. Doubt he comes, but there's always a chance.

From what I heard Lemonier got very annoyed with Miller trying to push him to go to UT and at one point told him to shut up about it.

There are no other safeties that are as good as Dorsey or Dowling, the next closest would be Ahmad Dixon, but with Dowling and Dorseys ball skills/athleticsism, they are the top two safeties. And the best corner is Josh Shaw, he physical, fast, and also has good ball skills. IMO the next closest is Demarcus Miliner or Toney Hurd, but neither of them are as physical as Shaw.
