I understand what Simmons is saying, but, with the great number of EEs that could be in our class, we may only have 4-5 guys that we are seriously recruiting that will announce from January to signing day. Probably not that exciting.

There are going to be some drop-offs and additions that will be worth watching. Some guys are going to wait til the last minute to de-commit ala Aubrey Phillips, Je'Ron Stokes.

It's fun to watch when your team can recuit well...not so much when your team cannot...

I could see that, but who would drop off? Alot of the "drop off" candidates will already be on campus and I'm not quite sure who we would wanna trade regardless. I know of 4-5 names to look to drop but it wouldn't be a huge surprise.

It may not be totally surprising because we've sat around and discussed it to excess, but it would be interesting. Especially to an outsider.

I don't think anyone that will be an EE is a guy that we have suspicions about. Those guys are all good. Pat Harris...John Brown....those guys aren't going to make it for January enrollment.

I see Williams, Harris, and Broussard gone for sure. Brown and Delvin are both up in the air. Not quite sure who else would jump. Taylor would be an option if UGA was to offer. Don't see that happening, though who knows if they miss on Luc. Don't see Adams gone since we need a TE and there aren't a ton of great options to fill that void. Ambles is one of our prized recruits and recruits for us. Bray is untouchable. Copeland could look around but I don't see us pushing him away. Fugate is EE. Fulton is a position of need and may be EE? James is EE. Jose is EE. Meline is attempting to be EE. Miller and Willis are EE. Milton is EE. Pair reaffirmed his commitment last week. Palardy is EE I think. Smith is 100% Vol. Thompkins is a ? to me.

Its going to take a lot to pull this guy away from the fighting Illini. He has been all Illinois for a while now. I think we do have a legitimate chance to show him the light however.

It is really hard for me to believe that anyone would want to play for the Fighting Zooks. By going there instead of UT you can figure to win 5 games at best and play in an inferior conference and get poor coaching........tough call......

Ya unless it's a "dream school" situation I'm not sure about going to Illinois where you have about a 90% chance of a coaching change, and no real chance to compete in your conference for at least two years. But hey...I don't understand alot of the logic of recruiting. so......sure.

Not to mention he has planned on playing with Calvin for a long time and, if we want, Calvin will likely commit this weekend.

Ron Zook and him have a close relationship. If he goes, corey goes someone else. I dont see Zook leaving tho. I agree that I would rather play for UT but maybe I am a little bias. I think playing with Calvin may have some effect, but at the end of the day, its his choice and he should go where he feels the best at

They will love their visit if they come. Lemonier has been saying he was coming forever and never shows. If he comes it will be a miracle. Don't know if the staff is sold on the package though.

The problem is that Calvin isn't a complete take. Lemonier is easily. I think they both make it in because this is an official and those don't fall in as easily.

Recent stats on Corey season:
A quick-twitch pass rusher with a great up field burst, he routinely beats the tackle off the ball and must be double-teamed at all times. He is blessed with natural pass rushing skills, exceptional athleticism, and the frame to weigh 270 in college. He will do nothing but get better each year. Stats– Recorded 15 tackles, 10 sacks, 15 tackles for losses, and 2 safeties on his way to earning All-League honors

Saw him at the game. Couldn't tell how good of a time he was having though. Sure he was probably shaking at the time I saw him. (Nice lady friend DRIVING and he was sitting on the back of the golf cart) Looked terrified:)

Nothing much, talked about the coaches banging drums and throwing chairs before the game though! haha, said we gave him something to think about, ect.
