Since Bowden stepped down and things are set for the future at FSU it hurts with C.Jones for us. I don't think he was ever an FSU lean because of a certain coach...Jimbo will get a good DC. I look for FSU to actually make a recruiting push between now and signing day...

My roommate is a big FSU homer and he says they're gonna get kirby smart. Supposedly he's a good recruiter and could possibly secure jones. That wouldn't be good for us. It might hurt bama though which is good.

It won't hurt Bama. Kirby Smart is a total uknown commodity as a coach.

The reason he'd leave Alabama is because he's only a DC in name. Everyone knows Saban runs that defense at Alabama.

true but u gotta believe he has learned a Great deal under Saban. Its not like he's going to be running an entire team. I think he can step in and make a HUGE difference for the Noles.

has Monte been to see Jones yet?

I think some bad things are happening with FSU...they may just screw us here soon...I think recruits that wanted to be there were turned of by the uncertainty....now that they know what is happening they are ready to jump back on ship.

Kirby Smart or Monte Kiffin?

I will only be worried if they get a HUGE name to be number two under Jimbo and I do not see that as a real possibility.

Frankly, if people can somehow look at the program and avoid attributing part of that disaster to Fisher, they deserve what they get.

You're right they can't. 17 and 18 year olds really don't see the big picture. They see Bowden as being the one and only problem when he was far from it. Then they have these adults "close to them" feeding them all kinds of BS as well about the situation. It makes for poor decisions on their part.

Any outsider can see plain as day that Jimbo Fisher is a huge reason for the problems at FSU and that he is completely overhyped as a coach because of one good season at LSU.

Exactly and it's even harder to show an instate kid who grew up a fan of the program that writing on the wall, IE Luc and Jones.

But if anyone can do it its O, Lane, and Monte all hope is not lost!:clapping:

So how did Fisher contribute to FSU's high school defense? Because Fisher's offense averaged 29 pts a game, and that's with the last three games starting a rs Frosh qb...
