IF he does, I think he and J.Smith will be starting OLB's. Smith is a tweener...a little too light to be a starting DE in the SEC right now. But it depends on what the coaches needs are. I think if we can get either Lemonier and or Stripling, it would be too tempting to let J. Smith move to OLB (may move back to DE as a Soph or Junior.Tennessee is a big player with Jones. I think FSU in the end too, but I would not be shocked to see him sign with TN on NSD. He plays from day #1 at TN.
I guess it depends on how much weight JS puts on over the next few months. He threw one of the lineman blocking him with one arm...he definitely doesn't lack power and he looked really quick especially on the Baxter tackle. I would worry about him in coverage as a linebacker, but who knows.
after the haul at the Army game he said he'd visit this month. we've got playing time up for grabs at linebacker and even more next year. having George Edwards as his position coach could be a draw over Greg Hudson but until he takes that visit i'm also of the opinion he's going to be a Nole.I would really watchout for UF here, especially if he takes a visit in the next couple of weeks to Gainesville.
Still think FSU bound but UF might be making a late play with him.

This is a guy we need to get, I agree he plays from day one!

im just new to this site so dont bash me but im facebook friends with christian jones and hes been talking to cody riggs and chris dunkley alot lately. i saw after the Army game he was raving about how strong the gators class was becoming. He was talking to cody riggs and he mentioned he would be in gainsville sometime soon. any truth to that guys?
oh i'm sure they are except Kiffin's not his position coach and won't be the primary person developing him. you guys love to throw around the NFL experience. well Lance Thompson has none and George Edwards has been coaching linebackers in the NFL since 1998. plus it's an in-state schoolGot two names for you Lance Thompson and Monte Kiffin...... best of the best at their position.
