'10 FL LB/DL Christian Jones

Exactly, we didn't run the option with Leak. You proved my point.

As a Gator fan you should know better than anyone Chris Leak didn't win you that championship. Tell me you would have won it if you wouldn't have had Teabow to come in and bail his ass out on 3rd and short or 4th and short......

You are in for alot of suprises this year. The rest of the SEC is catching up quick my friend. And Superman is gone.....

You saw the ass whipping Bama put on you. Well we are well on are way to handing you a couple ourselves....

I guess Christian Jones is being recruited by UF to play offense, since we are talking about who all is coming back on offense for them. FAIL.:banghead2:

V,B!
Thank goodness you ended all the conversation with some hard hitting new info.

I never said Leak won us that championship, but he was our starting QB. We will have 2 mobile QB's Reed and Burton (FR) to run the option like Tebow did his FR year. Brantley will not run the option like Tebow. The offense with Brantley will resemble the O that Meyer ran with Alex Smith at Utah. Branley will run it, but not as much. We will run I form most of the time for our running plays.
As to your surprises comment, college football is cyclical, and any rational fan knows that. I know that.
The last comment made me smile.

That last comment should have you concerned. It won't be just recruits we are competing with you for from now on. We have the staff and the schemes to give your team all kinds of hell.

BTW, did you watch Meyer's offense at Utah? Brantley is nothing like Alex Smith. They ran a helluva lot of option with him.

Will resemble this, IMO.

Yeah, I didn't see any "I formation" there. :eek:lol:

If you think Urban is going to run a bunch of I next year than you are just as gullible as Mack Brown. It won't happen.

Just like Tebow was going to take all these snaps from center this year, right?

Brantley cannot make some of the plays that Smith made in that vid.

Didn't say we were going to run most plays, but there will be I form in our Offense that we will run.
Anyone athletic can make those kinds of plays. I think you will be surprised how well Brantley throws the football.

Is there any news on this guy since the Kiffin departure? His recruiting pages still have a bunch of schools listed as medium interest, including Tennessee

Supposedly he is visiting USC this weekend and Notre Dame seems to be in play.

UT won't be a factor here. I think Jones was only considering UT because of Monte, and even under the old staff we wouldn't have been the favorite to get him.

Christian and his father was supposed to go to Miami for a visit recently but canceled the visit. Monte was the lead recruiter for us for Christian. Not hearing much from the boards if Dooley has put any emphasis on recruiting Christian now. Most think he would be great in a 3-4 as an OLB. Which we don't know as we are waiting on news for a DC.

Monte Kiffin guy!

Another prospect along with C. Smith, M. Ambles and A. Dixon that r gone and won't be back... JMO..

But thats OK. we'll move on..:D

If I had to put money on it, I would say he's FSU bound. But he has been spending quite a bit of time in Gator country, so they cannot be ruled out. Also Bama and ND have slim chances.

Bringing you the news, from an unbiased point of view.
