It wasn't the Gators that Willie Jones, Sr., who played football for FSU, should have worried about. It was Tennessee that nearly landed his son's letter of intent.

He would have been a good one. I didn't know we were that close to getting him. I thought all along with his Dad playing at FSU it would have been tough to land him. Glad we did get Corey Miller. I believe Monte was recruiting Jones pretty hard.

Jones was my favorite recruit of the class. He carried himself with the utmost class and respect in EVERY article or interview he gave. He'll do well @ Free Shoes.

I think Stone is the only story you will hear like that unless you wanna look at Chris Martin and Seastrunk whose parents wouldn't allow them to go to UT cuz of Kiffin or Ray drew who was turned off by the staff.

makes me sick how stacked our class would have been. But no use whining about it now. Time for our coaches to get it done.

Ambles would have been so would Chaz Green Robinson Coleman Dixon Robey and probably Copeland Willis and Smith we also would have probably gotten Baxter and Bryce Brown and AD would still be here.

Theres nothing we can do about it now but I think most people know thats what our class was going to look like with the exception of Baxter.

no on Coleman, Copeland, and Baxter. Maybe a no on Robinson. Of course our class would have been better had Kiffin stayed.

If Kiffin had stayed much longer Tennessee would have had everything vacated by the NCAA including the color Orange, and every win since the dawn of creation. Tennessee would have been on probation longer than OJ Simpson. -- John Calapari

Hes rite with the exception of Coleman, plus we were siting pretty for lots of other great prospects. But thats the past.
