'10 FL OL Torrian Wilson

Summer schmummer. Come on LV.

Michigan in the summer doesn't get any better. In contrast, Michigan in January is a horrible place. Have him take a visit to Ann Arbor in the winter and see if he feels the same way, especially after this last season and the idiot calling the shots up here.

I have a perfect idea that would have him signing papers for Tennessee tomorrow.....

Have a Miami native go visit Univ. of Michingan in January. He will turn right back around and head back south.

Honestly I think we can land him if we really want him. I would love to have Arie/Cullen, Green, and Wilson/Robinson/Coleman...... That would be a heck of a way to finish the Oline class, although I think Green is a must get for this staff.... I think he should be the number one priority on the board just because of the recruiting "moral" victory if there is such a thing. Well, that and he may be one of if not the best Olineman in the class.... IMO

Looking back through the thread, it seems we would have a good shot at landing him. He talks like he really wants to get out of the state of FL and hopefully the distance to Michigan will push him to the Vols...

That's more like it.... see I knew you'd see it my way! :good!:

A strong bowl performance, and a good visit with the offensive coaches should help him realize our depth on the line is lacking... if the sullins brothers can start and hold their own, the ceiling is so high for some of the notch recruits like wilson coming in

Wow weak sauce. We have a 90% chance of landing one of 5 guys, two of whom we have not pursued that hard because we have better prospects. Guess Luc still stings to be there with qualifiers.

Torrian Wilson, John Cullen, Chaz Green. I do not want to be wrong that we do not need D Robinson or J Stone because we finish too strongly on the O Line.

Come on Hamilton.... Vader brings it all day long and lot more than you do... at least his post are not book size/// as far as Luc goes a lot of people were wrong bout him, so let it go

This quote leads me to believe he's leaning towards the Vols. We've been on this guy for awhile. It reminds me of the JaWuan James situation.

"Coach O is still there," Wilson said. "Coach Kiffin is still there. I feel like as long as they don't go anywhere I'll be alright."

I think this kid will be a very good guard.

:) I said "hopefully." I have no clue if we land him or not. I do think, with about 90-100% certainty, we land one of Wilson/Stone/Robsinon/Coleman/Arie...

I think we land two off that list. Stone, Robinson, Wilson project at guard, we lost a guard with Jose Jose, but I think that deal has been known for awhile. Coleman is a tackle and Arie could play either.

Arie is the guy I want the most because his brother is a future NFL left tackle IMO.

OG Torrian Wilson vs. DT George Uko

Uko has been a player rising up the rankings every time he gets evaluated. He is a high-motor defender with a nice combination of size and quickness. Wilson comes from an excellent high school program and is used to playing under the spotlight. He has the size to match Uko's and displays quick feet for a big man and good strength. This is an interesting matchup between two 300-pounders.

This is a really good article from ESPN about the intriguing under armour match-ups. Here's another good one:

OT Chaz Green vs. DE William Gholston

This appears to be must-see TV and may be one of the more interesting matchups of the whole week. Within this matchup you have two prospects who certainly look the part and have very good athleticism for their size. They both have room for growth in areas of their game, but also ooze raw ability and appear to have very bright futures.

Green is a good pass-blocker who can get set quickly and use his reach to deliver a jarring blow, but he will actually be giving up some size to the 6-7, 250-pound Gholston. The Detroit native is developing as a full-time defensive end, but has the tools to get to the quarterback and notched close to 30 sacks as a senior. This is certainly the type of clash that could draw a crowd.

LOL sometimes you just can't put a big enough sign on things you're trying to point out to people. Maybe a couple of neon signs might do it.
