Just received a UT offer per Michael Langston of FlVarsity.com. He's really high on him.

"It was really exciting," Williams said of the offer. "I've always kind of liked Tennessee. They're a program that you see a lot on TV, and watching the SEC while I was growing up they were just always a team that I liked.

"I actually had told my dad that if Tennessee ever offered me they'd be in my top-five for sure."

"Absolutely, they're right there at the top for me now," Williams said. "I don't have real thought out top-five or anything right now, but Tennessee will be in it. They're one of the schools I'm going to look at seriously and I plan on making a visit up there."

Per Rivals... Also says he will be in for the UT Senior Camp in June...

Sounds like we've got a good chance at this player. It is going to be real interesting to see how Eddie O and Lane shape up this class as I am sure we will get a very large amount of commits before this year is all said and done.

Williams, 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, plays a rush linebacker position and finished his junior season with 81 tackles and 18 sacks.

"I'm always getting to the ball," he said. "I can make big plays in the backfield and I believe I can play any of the linebacker positions."

Committed to UT today, according to Hubbs. Beat out FSU and Arkansas. Hasn't been fully evaluated yet because lack of film. Obviously our staff has enough film on him to like him. We can thank Eddie Gran for this one!

Coach Gran may be our best recruiter. If competition in recruiting is big to this staff then he has to be one up.

I was mostescited about Gran out of all our offensive coaches. Didn't know he was such an awesome recruiter

Gran will do well with FL but Orgeron is the mastermind behind all this. I am reading "Meat Market" and about half the way through. You guys have no idea what type of recruiting beast Coach O is. 7 commits....about 23 more to go.

7 commits, 5 on DL and 2 on LB? Thats crazy.

But if we beat out FSU for an instate kid, I'm pretty happy with that.

Eric, Can you give us some quotes from the article?

Basically said that he slept on it, had a great sleep, then called Coach Gran and left him a message that he was coming. He only wants to visit Tennessee and says that will be his only visit. He's a team player and will do whatever it takes to help his team win. Great attitude it seems.
