He will make visits to other schools but still committed from everything I have read. His film is very impressive. Seems to be borderline on the grades....

Okay, just wondering.. saw on TOS where Taylor was considered our only firm at LB, and it is a big need position.. I had assumed it was because of the grades, but I didn't like the wording of "re-opening" his recruitment and he wasn't "solid".

This guys grades are not looking good. His GPA is in around 2.0. He never said what he scored on the SAT, he only said he "didn't do good."

I realize that, the question is, is he re-opening his recruitment because of grades, because we don't want him, or he wants to look at other places?

it said he had a 2.6 not a 2.0. big difference.
i think our bigger problem is that he said he is looking around. im not too worried though. i think he'll come around.

honestly guys....I know it is hard to tell this ealy on...but is Ralph Williams somebody that is going to make a difference in 2-3 years over Greg King and the other LB we have....and/or might have after the 2010-2011 class? I think he is a good athlete...but to be honest, he is the least of my worries.

Honestly, Williams is one of the guys I don't wanna lose. And to be honest, I'm not sure why at this point. The trials and tribulations of the recruiting game!

"They (Ole Miss) offered me today," Williams said. I got a text from my buddy, Frank Crawford, so I knew it was coming."

"Coach Vaughn told me to keep my grades up and they love up me up there," Williams said. "That changes things big-time because of the love I have for Coach Vaughn."

"I'm committed to Tennessee, but I'm still open," Williams said. "I'm going to take my visits and wherever I feel home, that's where I'm going to go.

"I haven't really told Coach Eddie G. that yet. I'm just open. I'm not fully committed. I'm about 80 percent committed."

Per Rivals... It's looking more and more like he won't be a part of this class. He still plans on taking officials to Ole Miss, UT, and Arkansas...

There is still a chance for him to stay if he is still taking a visit here.

If he leaves, that just leaves the door open for someone else. If the coaches want him badly enough though, I think they keep him.

Well if he decommits, then Luc will be very important along with Shirley. LV, what about Swilling, what is the word with him?

Dang this sucks. I dont know how Gran gets these guys to commit without them ever being on campus... pretty amazing actually. I think this guy looks good. He's got the size and speed for the SEC.. I don't wanna lose this guy. If he makes it to UT on a visit, i don't see how he picks ole miss or arky over us, no way..

If UT wants him, I dont see us losing him IMO, if he is important, I would expect to see Gran and coach O down there soon.

I may be behind all this, but when was he down to a soft verbal? Anything to do with C. Jones interest?

He is taking visits to Arkansas and Ole Miss and talks glowing about Ole Miss. I'm pretty sure that whenever you announce that you're gonna take visits to other schools, they move you down to a soft verbal...
