Pro-style quarterback
Miami (FL) Gulliver Prep

Ht: 6-foot-2
Wt: 195 lbs
Class: 2010 (High School)

Threw for 3200 yds, 32 td's and 11 ints last year.

Michael Strauss - 2010 QB

His only current offer is Tulane, and he could use a few inches, but he's got a good TD/INT ratio. Has interest from Bama, Florida, Auburn, and Ole Miss for starters. Article says he's looking for great facilities, tradition, and atmosphere. He's received a letter from us, and could potentially be a participant in one of our camps. Someone to keep an eye on at least.

Classic example.

Here's to hoping the penultimate headcase (only second to Ryan Leaf) can figure out how to be a QB again someday...if not, WR is in his future.

Is it just me or does Strauss look strikingly like a Jonas Brother?

Didn't watch the first video, but the second one was impressive in terms of accuracy, he was hitting his receivers in stride, besides a couple of bad throws that were lagging behind a little it looked pretty solid. Was it me or did his deep passes have like no air on them at all...idk might have just been the camera angle or something.

I was thinking a less pubescent Matt Leinart or Keanu Reaves in his Bill and Ted days.

Videos looked pretty good. Not sure what the competition was like, but it couldn't have been bad. Looked poised under pressure (and I know because I made the trip to LA and saw the complete opposite of poise in the pocket). He just seems really small in relation to the field.

I like him...saw his vid a couple days ago. Even with the sidearm, you have to love that lightning quick release. Good footwork too.

He definitely looks like a Jonas Brother.

But, he throws a good looking deep ball. He would be a nice addition to come in with the Heaps kid:thumbsup:

He looks exactly the same as the dude in the UPS' Whiteboard commercials, OK just 30 year younger...

separated at birth. One to be a celibate tween rock star doling out hormonal angst filled harmonies, the other, a cannon thrower, only one upped by Rod Wilks

"I think Bowling Green is close to offering soon. Schools like Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, FIU, Vandy, ECU and others all say they are coming to watch me this spring."

"On my spring break I went and saw Tulane, Alabama, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Tennessee. After Tennessee I took a flight to Ohio and saw Bowling Green and Akron."

"Ole Miss, Alabama, Tulane, Akron, and Tennessee would be my top five from what I have seen. But I like schools like FIU because it's so close. I have built up good relationships with all of these coaches."

Per Rivals...

When did Bowling Green move to Ohio?
