I'm not saying you'll be on ESPN every week but the results show it doesn't matter. King was a 2nd round pick and Ramsey and Losman were first round picks. Tulane has also had pretty good success at the skill positions (Mewelde Moore, Matt Forte, Roydell Williams, Jerald Sowell). The biggest difference between Tulane and BCS schools is usually in the trenches and depth (although we whipped Bama in the trenches last year).

good point. people dont get the end result is what matters, 2 biggest problems with side arm throwing are 1 it negates some height, and 2 and most importantly its hard on the shoulder and elbow joints so can be an issue for staying healthy.

sab how much intrest do you think we have in strauss, and do you think its enough that he may end up getting an offer from us? i know there was supposedley intrest from the coaches early on, but strauss was the source for that info.

I don't think we have any. We knew about this kid early and never made any sort of move on him. There was contact with the UT coaches right after signing day but he still has no offer. We also evaluated him in person when taking a look at his teammate, Ralph Williams so if there was any interest, he'd already have an offer.

thats about what i thought, he hasent shown anything hudge, but i have a gut feeling hes gona be a solid QB, who hasent realy peaked yet. it will be intresting to watch what kind of fall he has.

I'm pretty sure he made it up to one of our camps as well. I agree that we'll just keep an eye on him.
