For having 3 really good freshman RBs come in, there is sure alot of interest from HS RBs. Love it.

I think you can probably drop UA out of that list. We have 2 juniors, sophmore, and 2 freshman backs now. We also have two coming in next year. So I think our RB slots are full. He is a very nice back and we might still, but very few spots left I doubt it. Good luck with him though and I believe UT has a good shot at him.

Giovanni Bernard Profile - Football Recruiting impressive offer list.
From a recent scout free-read.

When I first saw that I got excited and thought he was a 250lb running back haha. 250 would be a bruiser. 5'9 198lbs is big too though. Would love for the team to add a big back that can push the pile. Not that Brown and Oku aren't more than capable of grinding out a couple yards for the first down. They are big themselves.

Oku and "big" do not belong in the same sentence.

This guy has good quickess and continues to make YAC. Looked pretty hard to bring down. Nice mix of speed and power.

The more & more i see those practice jerserys the more i like them.

i love em, and wich they sould be game jerseys, but i saw someone post that we cant wear them bc adidas can only have their logo once on the jersey or something like tha, and those three stripes would basically represnt their logo :no::no:

I disagree: Oku will be a BIG time play maker for the Vols, starting this year. He is already proving himself to be a focal point of this offense. I would not be surprised if he led the team in receptions.

I think he was referring to his size and not his play making ability.

Have you heard if we have a legit shot at this kid, or will our depth at the position scare him off no matter how much he loves the visit?

Bernard has said, that he enjoys competition and thinks it will make him better. He wants to learn from his teammates and incorporate their success into his own game.

The Aquinas program is all about competition. He is used to sharing carries with other talented backs.
