it will be interesting to see how CLK/Pahokee drama will affect future recruiting with this Kid and the others that are sure to come from that area. I hope they see it as UT's intensity and ambitiousness.

He's never been a Miami lean. He's a jokester and when he saw the Miami website at an event he threw up the "U" for them to take a picture. That got all the Canes fans in a tizzy down here.

FSU is the school to beat here, two weekends ago he did tell me an SEC school was making a run though. He wanted me to keep what SEC school under wraps though. Plus his top 5 seems to change daily, with FSU being the only constant.

Thanks for the updates Luke.

it sucks that you have over 1000 posts in a month and we have to endure your endless posts in every single thread

A month? He's only been registered for about a week and a half, which makes it even more pathetic.

Just to let you know, I wasn't trying to insult him or anything with the VSPN comment. I am very glad he is here, and hope he will bring us some really good information.

"I guess it would be Florida State, Pitt, Alabama, Miami, LSU, and Tennessee. But there are a bunch of others, too. I don't know. I change my top group every day."

DE JOSHUA JOHNSON, WR, 150, 4.4, PAHOKEE, FLORIDA

“I have 21 offers. My top schools are Florida State, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Pittsburgh, Oregon, Tennessee and Colorado State. This summer I’m going to LSU, Florida State, Tennessee, Florida and Pittsburgh.” Johnson said

“I like LSU because they throw the ball and they play in the SEC and I have some teammates that play there. I like how LSU plays for National Championships.” Johnson added

“I want to take a trip to Oregon I’ve never been up there. I like Oregon’s uniforms and how they throw the ball (spread). Also it’s away from a lot of distractions.” Johnson said

Slow Defenses

“I like how Michigan runs the spread offense,” Johnson said, “I like the Big 10, the defenses are slow, I’m very fast, I will be open and put up big numbers. I’m projected to be a starter if I go to Michigan.”

“I checked out Michigan on the Internet and I have three teammates at Michigan now.” Johnson added

7 On 7 Camp South Florida

“I can beat any corner out there no doubt, no doubt. I know that. I just showed that I can beat any corner on any route any giving day two weeks ago on the 7 on 7 tournament at South Florida. I was the MVP on my team and for defensive backs.” Johnson said

Put On A Show

“Me and Chris Dunkley put on a show at the 7 on 7. We put on a mean show, we put on a show. I had a lot of fun there. I met a lot of guys who I read up on the Internet and guys who read up on me too. We just all talked.” Johnson added

“Chris Dunkley and I are going to visit Oklahoma State for a visit this summer, “Johnson said, “I like how they throw the ball and they spread it out at times. Chris and I might make it up to Nebraska but we don’t know for sure.”

Likes The ACC

“I prefer to play in the ACC.” Johnson said, “I like North Carolina, North Carolina State and Florida State. I like Miami but they are off the radar right now. They (Miami) have a lot of wide receivers on their team. I want to go somewhere to play right away.”

“I prefer pro style and spread but it doesn’t really matter, I like both. Florida, Tennessee, Michigan run both styles. I like West Virginia who runs the spread only.” Johnson said

“I’m going to start my officials the second week of football season. I don’t know which ones yet. I’m going to make a decision September 27 that was the day my teammate Norman Griffin was killed.” Johnson added

The Big League

“I love the NFL. I’m ready to get there. I’m going to leave after my junior year for the NFL. If the Lord’s plan is the NFL I will be there.”

Per Rivals... Apparently Gran called him at 12:06am Wednesday morning...

"It was pretty cool," Johnson admitted of the phone call six minutes after the spring contact period started. "It showed me a lot. It showed me how much they want me and how important I am to them. It let me know how much they are interested and how much they really want me to come up and check things out."

He will not be attending the Orange and White game with Nukeese, but a couple of other players from Pahokee will be coming with Nuke...

"I thought about it, but really I like to travel by myself," Johnson said. "Selfishly, I want an unofficial trip to be about me learning about the school and getting to know the coaches. When you are in a group that is harder to do. So I am trying to come up there in the next few weeks."

"I like that they play in the toughest conference," Johnson said. "I love competition and I like that Tennessee is bouncing back after last year. They had a good recruiting class and with a good one this year they will be back."

"I will take my visits in-season," Johnson said. "My plan is to graduate early but that will depend on track. Track is very important to me and I want to run in college. If I can go somewhere in January and start running then I want to enroll in January, but if I can't then I might not graduate early."

He has already visited Florida, Florida State, and Miami on unofficial visits...
