I dont blame him, but he sounds a little like a "me first" type kid. He's already saying he's going to the NFL after his junior year? give me a break.

The kid has to prove it on the field first at the next level before talking about going into the NFL.

I'll take three years (or at least two) of solid production, but I agree. Definitely needs to step on fields in the SEC and play like an NFL prospect first.

"They are definitely getting an official visit from me, but I think I am taking at least two more unofficials there too," said Johnson. "This visit this weekend helped their chances out tremendously. I thought their playmakers all played well. Julio Jones was great and I thought their slot receiver (Marquis Maze) had a great game. All of their receivers came to play and made great catches.

"Right now, my overall group of favorites are Alabama, Florida State, Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Michigan and West Virginia. I would say Alabama and Florida State are at the top. Alabama may have inched ahead a little but I think it is still even. It is going to be a tough call to make."

Don't know what Saban puts in the Bama Kool Aid, but he is one hell of a recruiter.

He's as much a force as anyone on our staff. I hate him, I truly hate him.

If you think we have 6 recruiters on Sabans level, you're delusional.

Saban is, at worst, a top 3 recruiter in the country.

O would probably be top 5 somewhere.

Lance would be far below that though. Honestly, 90% of his success has been based on Saban.

Where do you think O and Lance would be at?
Coach O would definitely be top 10. It's hard to say though because coaches at schools with a lot of talent in their area, Florida, Texas, Cali. These coaches could not be solid recruiters, but still land plenty of highly rated players.

Pete Carroll would get my vote for no. 1.

We have a tendency to forget that Lane has pulled in number 1 recruiting classes himself. We got some good ones for sure.
