So, basically he has been pushing Georgia to Da'Rick for a long time now and is upset because our coaches knew this and bypassed him because he's a damn Dawg fan. Sounds like someone poured sand in and around his female anatomy to me.“I heard that Orgeron was over there [at the Nances] yesterday and offered Nash but I didn’t know anything about Da’Rick,” said Lamb, whose father Ray Lamb works for the University of Georgia Athletic Association. “I haven’t talked to anybody from Tennessee. They did that behind my back and I’m not happy with them.”
Watched the Dawg Report. They seem 2 think Zach Mettenberger wins the job. Murray has missed 22 practices and they also say Mett has better tools than AM.
Having Kippy onboard now has to help...and if Bisaccia does indeed get hired, that's an ALL-NFL offensive staff. How many teams in the country can say that? It would have to make NCAA history, I would think.Does this guy have much intrest UT?
Sorry guys for posting this question here, but I can't start my own thread and didn't see another appropriate thread. Since this is a GA athlete, thought I would post it here.
Any news at all on a DC for Georgia? Last I heard they had missed on a couple and were looking at John Chavis. That was two weeks ago, and hadn't heard anything else about Chavis or anyone else. Just curious as to why there has been no news on the DC search. IT can 't be making their defensive recruits feel very secure....
"Learned this morning from a Darlington booster and good friend of Nance family, that Da'Rick is strongly considering switching to TN. TN made offer of taking Nance if Rogers is part of the deal. Family really wants a top D1 school for their son. This family took in Da'Rick, raised him through high school and the two boys are really close. Sorry. Booster would not be suprised if we lost him this weekend."
My friend in Calhoun(the same one who told me about the McEachern/Rajaan Bennett situation) just informed me that the Vols are very much in play with Da'Rick Rogers following the in-home visit with him and Nash. The phrase was "strongly interested."
It seems as though the offer served it's purpose and at least gives the staff a puncher's chance with Rogers. Worst case scenario is that Richt's staff has to work extra hard down the stretch to hold on to one of their most coveted recruits instead of focusing on last minute steals.
This may be much ado about nothing, but it could be something to watch.
