Oh the UGA homers have completely turned on this kid. While I do not know Rogers or anybody from Calhoun for that matter I know alot of the area high school football coaches. No surprise they are all UGA homers. Earlier this year a close friend of mine coached against Calhoun, and coached at some camp Da'rick went to.... we were out at the bar and he was raving about the kid. He said man you gotta check out this kid from Calhoun his name is Da'Rick and they call him Da'freak. 6'3 4.3 speed and he plays faster, when he gets the ball in his hands hes darn near untouchable.

Just this morning he and I were working out along with one of the other coaches and somehow in a matter of months Rogers became a thug who plays soft and has terrible hands! ha Oh the fickeled world of recruiting and SEC rivalries. Oh well I hate UGA and have seen this kid play live and he was a beast when he was committed to UGA and is still a beast now that he's decommitted. Hope the best for him (especially if he faxes that LOI to the 865). V, B

I think the rumor is. Georgia fans keep saying we bought him a car?!?!?! haha theyre in denial

Georgia fans are also they aren't buying carpets from NW Georgia anymore (on the AJC).

I guess with the housing market in shambles they don't need to re-carpet their trailers.

A good review of Da'Rick after he committed to Georgia.
Joining Allen in the addition to the 5 star ranks is Rogers. He is one of the top athletes in the country and we knew that going into the year. The combination of size, speed, and explosiveness has been seen in the past, but he became a true and consistent play-maker this year.

At times he would go missing in the past, but he has made plays game after game this season. He has returned kick-offs for touchdowns and made many plays at wideout throughout the first half of the season.

Like Allen, Rogers came out to a Scout Combine in the spring and dominated in Atlanta. He could not be covered and he was impressive each time he got the ball thrown his way.

He is one of the most impressive receivers in the country and he has the size at 6-foot-3, 208 pounds, the speed (sub 4.5 in the 40 yard dash), and the explosiveness (over 40 inch vertical) all look for in a receiver. He still has to fine tune his game in route running, but he will play at Georgia in game one.

Through four games, Rogers had 18 receptions for 419 yards and seven touchdowns. He also had 419 return yards and a touchdown.
