The "finished product" is FAR less quality than UT. The entrance requirements are the subject in question.

Yeah this is true. UT is making it a bit more of a challenge to get in as opposed to how it was 5 or 6 years ago.

And the only reason UGA ups its standards when it comes to entrance requirements is because there are so many kids that want to go there because it's the state school. Their business program is okay bu there's not much more after that.

since i appeared to have derailed this thread I'll finish my comment by adding that he also said Ga Tech was were the real engineers in ga went. said that was a good school. I can neither confirm nor deny any of this is true but he does know more about me on this topic. he is working on his MBA now and chose TN over GA.
