'10 GA ATH Da'Rick Rogers

Wednesday can not get here soon enough, if Rogers comes on board that in itself would make it a good day for UT IMO.

Wait, Dooley is doing an in-home visit tomorrow (friday)?? I thought Rogers and Nance were going to UT for an unofficial visit this weekend?

Dooley will get the last in home visit with Rogers yes. And it is true that Nash and Rogers are thinking about coming up for a unofficial visit. But they may be coming Saturday.

The storms down that way are supposed to be pretty bad, but I think if they can make it, then that may cement Da'Rick with us. If he wasn't considering us strongly, he wouldn't come back.

Already in his ear? You can bet the people in Calhoun have been "in his ear" about UGA since they ever knew the boy could play football. Calhoun is a very pro-UGA area, and the fact that there are so many questions around his recruiting bodes quite well for UT. No news until signing day may be good news in this case scenario, which hints he might not want to catch flak from an entire high school, his coach, community, etc.

Welcome to VolNation! Good first post!

You really are hopeful, but I like you're thinking. Dooley seems to be an all-star recruiter in-home. I just hope he pulls this one through. The duo would be HUGE.

I really do think that this is a totally realistic situation. I'm almost to the point where I feel confident saying we're going to get him. I mean, if he stays with Georgia, okay. But I wouldn't be the slightest surprised if we get him.

And the thing about Dooley...he has the things that these kids parents find important. They believe him. He's a good ol' boy. And it's important to win the parents (or in Marlon Brown's case, grandparents). But also, he has the knowledge of the game and the resume to win the kids too. He's going to be good for Tennessee football. Already is I think.

being from calhoun i am fortunate enough to say that i have got to see him play... i really hope that he signs with ut but yeah i can assume that he is hearing it from the locals and lamb seems like a deuche so he is not helping matters i would assume
