'10 GA ATH Da'Rick Rogers

Da'rick has been so quiet and so has Nances' father about his situation that I doubt if anyone other than the immediate family knows much. I suppose they are trying to decide and doubt if they have even made the decision themselves.

Just glad he is thinking about UT, that is a victory in itself. GBO go CDD

One theory:

If he's a Dawg, he can scream from the hills, wouldn't matter.

If he's a Vol, and this gets out, people would be all over him trying to change his mind.

Another theory:

He wants to make his announcement on NSD and be on TV.

Pick up the one with the T on it, Da Rick.

That guy is probably going in to hiding and I for one could not be happier.

I like stevenharveys opinions. Don't always agree with him, but think he has well thought out opinions.

Dont know about his sources but I dont know about anyones sources... I do wish he could change that AVA. though LOL>>>

I believe that is good for us, like some mentioned if he decommitted now Georgia fans would instantly be hating him and all that and he might not want to go through that for five more days.

midfielder is the same guy who claimed he played basketball with a kid in 7th grade or something, so he knew that the kid was soft and wouldn't be a good football player. also the magic phone story never gets old

Unfortunately, I think he's gonna be playing between the hedges next year. For some reason, I can visualize "Rogers" being on a red jersey more than I can on an orange one. I really hope not though. I'd love to see rogers, hunter/meline, milton, and stocker on the field at the same time. Very few schools have that combination of height and speed. Throw in a couple quality linemen, bryce brown/tauren poole, and either nance or bray.... Then get Ausmus to condition 'em, Chaney to teach 'em, and DD to discipline 'em... Yikes. We may lose some games, but it won't be because we won't be able to generate points.

TV announcement with Nash and Dad there. Would be sweet..

Still not sure if that is the case but CDD is on the job...

Rivals Radio was just talking about Rogers and the thought was that he was still a Dawg BUT if he came back to Knoxville this weekend, there HAD to be something to it and he possible could come to UT.

I had a bunch of close buddies that I played football with back in the day. If we'd a chance to do what these guys have in front of them no way would we have passed on it. Does anybody else on here agree with that?
Here we're talking close enough pals for his dad to be a part time guardian. The only way you can pass on this gig is if it's a clear, no-brainer upgrade for one over the other and I can't imagine UGA passing as a no-brainer upgrade in this case.

Bingo! If he calls it now, the next 5 days people are callin' cryin' cussin' promisin'... you name it. Nash don't have that problem. On NSD, people realize it's over so it'd cut the friction in half at least.

I absolutely agree with that. If I had the chance to college football with my best friend, I take it in a heartbeat. And I never moved in with my best friend. And what connection does Rogers have to UGA? Just that he lives in GA? Or was he a lifelong dawg fan? Some coach on the team? If it's just that he lives in GA, I think his best friend playing for UT definately overrides that. And it probably does override the other stuff anyway.

I will not bash you for just seeing it man, that would be stupid. That is cool but it sounds like he may be playing with us.

Hmmm...that is interesting.

PS If you have to put a disclaimer on something, everybody becomes VERY suspicious of you.

Insinuating that I'm 18. Nice. How's that working out for you? Atleast I spend a hell of a lot less time on here than you nerds.

I think I might have forgot something.... That was posted on Nances wall. Sorry :banghead2:

I have been thinking the same thing for about two weeks, every since this stuff started.
