'10 GA DB Alec Ogletree

my assumptions comment had to do with the guy who assumed i was in high school because of my screenname.

I can read AND understand, hence my comment that you just needlessly validated. That aside, wth does your drivel regarding a game score have to do with my comment on your assumption about our shared views (not so much) on assumptions?

TN commit, GA LB, Michael Taylor read the Alec Ogletree on Volquest on Wednesday morning and he's known his fellow Peach state product for quite sometime and says he's been leaning on Ogletree to join him in Knoxville.

"I know (Ogletree) pretty well," Taylor said. "I know we are still trying to get him. We were on the same 7 on 7 team at a camp down in Florida. I texted him earlier today and said that I thought he needed to join me on Rocky Top. I told him that he and I could be awesome together. Georgia is ugh...."

From AJC:

“I was at practice watching film when I got the text message,” Ogletree told me Wednesday evening. “Man, I was just surprised. It was a shock for me because I wasn’t really expecting it, at least not right now.”

That said, Ogletree reaffirmed his position from earlier in the week.

“It doesn’t really affect my commitment because like I said before I really want to play for Coach Richt and he’s still there,” said Ogletree, the No. 2-ranked safety in America according to Scout.com. “I’m sure they’ll bring in somebody good.”

At that point Ogletree had not heard from Richt or recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner. But he has now. And Richt said recruiting was going to be his top priority going forward.

our current defense commits are all over TN top targets to create a dominating defensive class....its one thing to have all of our coaches outworking people but they are instilling that attitude in our current commits as well

The following are the two best recruiting staffs in the country:

1) UT's coaches

2) UT's defensive commits

Lmao first we had Jacques recruiting for us then Willis and Miller and now Taylor is jumping on nice....

45-19:rofl: feels good to type that no matter how long ago its been. Bulldogs are and will be terrible as long as Richt remains there.

Very likely?!

I don't quite agree with that. I'd say we have a shot. I think there's a MUCH better chance he sticks with UGA. We've gotten in on AO, but that doesn't change the fact that there's still quite a bit of ground to make up with him.

Exactly, its o.k to be happy but to say its very likely is a little over board.

How realistic is it that we pull this cat from Georgia?

I would say unless Ogletree flips back to Georgia then he will be a Vol. Like I said earlier, a month ago Alec told my friend from Newnan that he was coming here and this was before the DC down there was fired. Not an expert and Alec could have been BSing him but my friend seems very confident!

It sounds like Ogletree is telling two completely different stories. He says he is genuinely interested in UT one minute and turns right around and says he is all Georgia........then again I got that from reading info not first hand so idk.......

Coming for a visit or wants to be a vol for good?
