If that dude defines what it means to be a christian, the world is in trouble.
Well putI very much appreciate all the information and insight you bring to this thread, but in this case I strongly believe that "what it means to be a Christian" is conclusively defined by Scripture.
In addition to defining what constitutes a Christian, we are told that we are to be in the world but not of the world. Yes, pornographic pictures are offensive to Christians, but we cannot impose our beliefs on an unbelieving world. I think our best choice is to ignore offensive pictures when we come across them and if it is a problem, turn off the avatars.
Just my opinion, though, but based on Scripture.

Tuyeres a article on vq about copeland anybody got the scoop it says he told tigerbait where he sttod in his recruitment?
Here is part of the article. Does not look good for Vols.
Just last week it seemed as though Copeland would join Tennessee as part of Derek Dooley's first recruiting class in Knoxville. Things started to change when LSU head coach Les Miles made the trip to Troup to visit with future Tiger running back Brandon Worle. Miles bumped into Copeland and the two hit it off. The talented prospect was slated to take an official visit to South Carolina this weekend, but he decided to visit Baton Rouge instead.
"The weekend was tremendous," Copeland said on Sunday while he was still in Baton Rouge. "I've enjoyed everything, but mostly just sitting with coach Miles, talking with him and seeing what he's really like. He takes care of his players. He's real considerate and a great guy."
When asked about where he stands on things and whether he is still committed to Tennessee, Copeland simply replied, "I'm undecided."
"I'm going to weigh my options on the way home and then sit back and chill," he continued. "On Tuesday I'm just going to forget about it, and then on Wednesday I'll wake up and make my decision."
Good grief. Not the place. This isn't a PTL forum, and you can't walk in and demand a culture change. And I've spent nearly 50 years around well-intentioned nit wits who believe they, and only they, have the conclusive interpretation of scripture for one thing or another, and anyone who believes differently is going to hell. Try some humility. And if you want a Christian Vol forum, start one.
Copeland is struck by the visit. We have a need on the DL, and he knows this. He also doesn't have the coach that he committed to here anymore as well. This is the reason that you don't commit to a coach, you commit to a university and idea that you are going to better yourself as a person. Football should be 2nd, because you never know if that career ending injury is around the corner.
why do SEC fans dislike Miles so much? I think SEC fans need to learn to give Miles some respect...51-15, 2 trips to Atlanta, 1 SEC, 4-0 in BCS games..a MNC...and a top recruiting class...
fine, you want to say it's all because of saban from 6 seasons ago!...alright, that is your perspective
