Saban pulled his scholly offer. If he corrects some character issues, he might be re-offered. Quite frankly, there's lots of young OL studs on Bama's team and UT will lose most of theirs after this year. If he wants to play in his first 3 years, he'll probably need to go elsewhere.
According to Rivals he has decommited. UA still in it but looking around acoording to J James. If the rumors are true we are not in it and it is actually good news for us. So we will see.
Here we go the UT faithful thinks I as a UA supporter is mad we lost one. Oh my God give me a tissue. It is fans like this that loose the respect of others. If you ever take the time to read any of my post on here I have always said players come and go and it is part of the big picture.
Now to the yahoos on here please show me where I said we didn't want him, he was an issue because grades, or that he was a trouble maker. Please do show me that. I said their were rumors, which were around a couple of weeks ago about this and some other players. The two rumors regarding J James were that he was looking elsewhere because he wanted early play time and that since DJ Fluker one of the top OT in the 2009 class at LT is playing 3rd string RT that would make sense. The other rumor was that Saban was trying to get him to another conference and decommit. Actual I belive that was on this site I saw that. The other rumors really not relating to J James is a number crunch issue in spots left. It was rumored that we might loose him and someone else because supposedly one or two players we did not think we were in the running for are now interested in UA. This does not mean we are getting anybody, but it does fit the bill of the rumors.
Also I hate to break it to all the UT fans one player will not break our class this year or two. The fact is we have depth once again and we will get a full class of players we want. That is why we recruit so many not just 25. If he goes to UT I hope he has a great career, because in the end like in another post of mine I only want players that want to play a UA 100%. nothing short of that. So again I could care less, but I did want him at UA, but another spot is now open. So I am not upset that he decommited because I am confident we will be allright.

BTW the majority of UA fans aren't mad that he decommited, they are mad because he came out last week and said he was firm to UA when asked. When asked last week about the rumors of him decommiting, if would have said that I am unsure at this point or that he was I think most wouldn't have cared. Integrity does get called into question and for me whether or not you are 17 yo or whatever it does not matter. I guess being a former Marine makes me take your word alot differently than some. Either way I wish the kid the best and hope whatever program he ends at he performs well for them.
Well it is not over until it is over.
I also find it interesting that he decommited and UT fans automatically assume it is because he is commiting to them. He might be interested, but it is not like he came out and said I am dropping Bama for UT. He said he is looking around and I believe he has alot of interest in the UT program. But by reading some of the posters on here you would think this was Nuke all over again. We had a player decommit and nothing more. He has not chosen any other school at this point. If so I guess I missed it. Sorry but UT didn't steal a recruit from us, even if he ends up there. He has said he will be taking several visits to see where he thinks he fits best.

Because the Dolphins are without a head coach. What is the difference with yours getting fired because of not telling the truth with the Raiders. You can spin it any way you want.
It comes down to you want, players that want to be at your program. Not unsure prospects. Apparantly he commited to early with us just like other kids who jump the gun and later change their mind. I only want kids that are 100% commited nothing more. The plain and simple truth he decided UA might not be the best choice for him and decided to open up his recruitment. Does that mean he wont change his mind and come back who knows. The kid has goals he wants to achieve and needs to find the place that he feels will help him do that. I just hope he chooses a place and is able to do it. The only thing I want is for him to stay in the SEC.
Like I said - kids say that ALL the time if they don't want it to be public yet - and obviously James DID not want it to be public at that time. There were rumors already surfacing - so if he didn't say that then those rumors would have quickly been confirmed. Once again - it happens a lot in recruiting so get over it.
The difference is that your coach straight up lied on the record to the media. The only person that claimed our coach lied is the craziest person in the NFL- Al Davis, and Lane Kiffin denies it. I've believed Kiffin from day 1 even before he became UT's coach. Davis was just looking for an excuse to fire him and try to make him look bad.
So if Saban is such a horrible person for a straight up lie to the media what is the difference with J James doing the same thing. Please tell me. I know the arguement is that J James didn't want it to be public yet, but the same with Saban not wanting his business to be public yet about something that was not concrete. I guess it is alright when it is in UT's favor, is that what you are telling me?
