I would wager is had mostly to do with being able to get on the field a lot sooner at a place like UT. We REALLY need this guy. I would love to see our class fill out with Dietrich Riley, a DT and (5) solid O-Linemen.

He actually said, that he was uncomfortable with the textbook scandal and probation in a recent article.

I personally agree with the sentiments of others. I think he finally realized, "Oh ****, I don't want to live in Tuscaloosa for the next 4 years."

IMO If we win or play close this wknd; James announces after Ga game. If we lose bad and need a fan base boost; James announces early next wk.

That's what I'm afraid of... if he can do that then by all means we need it. Wish we hadn't neglected the hogs the last couple years in recruiting. Anyway, would early playing time be a big selling point for this guy?

i have already heard that this guy and bernard are silents to us i have that info from the same guy that said cobbs was a silent to us a month ago he also said kiffin was gonna be our coach last november (seems pretty reliable) he said that these 2 will commit when kiffin thinks we need some publicity not sure if its true or not just throwing that out there

even though people who spoke to Cobbs and Cobbs himself denied that he was ever a silent to UT...?

there is a article on scout that james visited georgia this weekend and plans on takin another visit???
