It's actually a violation to give recruits clothing for free, IIRC.

So basically what your saying that on tv when the recruits pick a school that they are gonna go to that the hats that they have with them werent given to them I doubt it because thats alot of money that the recruits would have to spend on hats.

They do it all the time at every school. I don't think that's something that is policed very closely.

They give them stuff but from what I have heard they usually take it back. Bryce Brown was wearing a big Orange parka to spring practice and he had to give it back.

Correct.

Also, wasn't it pouring in Athens at the start of that game? It looks like he it is a rather nice rain jacket, I'd be surprised if all the recruits there didn't have one on during the game.

Must have thought that he looked pretty good in that Big Orange Parka. I hope we can get JJ to try it on.

How many kids have you seen wearing Air Jordan's that you knew did not have the money to buy them. Just because they bought the hats does not mean they had the money to do it.

"My official to Tennessee will be the UGA game (10-10). They need linemen in a big way. I think they coaches there are great. Coach (Ed) Orgeron is recruiting me and he's a real good guy. I like the OL coach and already have a good bond with the entire staff. They have a good thing going up there."

Per Rivals... I can't imagine UT not getting him with Orgeron on him...

When was this LV? If this was as of today, I might change my mind on what I've been saying. That sounds pretty positive. I was almost sure that Lance Thompson was the one recruiting him for the most part.

Either way, both are great recruiters but we all know Ed O closes deals like no other.

I just find it odd that James will be visiting UGA twice and is coming to UT to watch them play UGA. I was saying, in my opinion, it's 60/40 UGA/Tennessee for James.... if that quote is from the past 48-72 hours, I'll go 50/50 or maybe even a slight Vol edge.

The article was in the past hour or so. I'm telling you man, I wouldn't worry a whole lot about James...

I don't get why you think that's odd. His friends are likely mostly UGA fans and the backlash he would get for just up and committing to Tennessee would be major. He's giving UGA a shot, but in the end it will be Tennessee that comes out of the fray with his commitment.

Does James have an ultra-controlling, ultra-Christian grandmother?

If not we have nothing to worry about from UGA

the fact that he is going back to Athens again, this time with his family, is not a good sign IMO.

I don't see how anyone could see it as anything but a bad sign.

Yea, other than posters on here saying where theres smoke blah blah. His recruitment and everything he is doing says Georgia. 2 unofficials and an official and coming to UT for the Georgia game. Yea, that sounds like a UT lock to me.

It sure doesn't sound like we are leading. Two trips and coming here for UGA. Plus the family. Wonder if family will join him in Knoxville.

Yeah I have to say that is definitely doesn't look good with him seeing UGA for two unofficials in the past few weeks and then going back for an official later and then coming to UT when they play UGA just sounds kinda a UGA lean to me IMO. I mena if it were the other way around with him with him visiting UT several times everyone would be saying he was a UT lean.

Unless there is a grand scheme to hide his true feelings, as some on the board have alluded to, he's a GA lean/... IMO.
