It's actually a violation to give recruits clothing for free, IIRC.
They give them stuff but from what I have heard they usually take it back. Bryce Brown was wearing a big Orange parka to spring practice and he had to give it back.
So basically what your saying that on tv when the recruits pick a school that they are gonna go to that the hats that they have with them werent given to them I doubt it because thats alot of money that the recruits would have to spend on hats.
"My official to Tennessee will be the UGA game (10-10). They need linemen in a big way. I think they coaches there are great. Coach (Ed) Orgeron is recruiting me and he's a real good guy. I like the OL coach and already have a good bond with the entire staff. They have a good thing going up there."
Per Rivals... I can't imagine UT not getting him with Orgeron on him...
When was this LV? If this was as of today, I might change my mind on what I've been saying. That sounds pretty positive. I was almost sure that Lance Thompson was the one recruiting him for the most part.
Either way, both are great recruiters but we all know Ed O closes deals like no other.
I just find it odd that James will be visiting UGA twice and is coming to UT to watch them play UGA. I was saying, in my opinion, it's 60/40 UGA/Tennessee for James.... if that quote is from the past 48-72 hours, I'll go 50/50 or maybe even a slight Vol edge.
I don't get why you think that's odd. His friends are likely mostly UGA fans and the backlash he would get for just up and committing to Tennessee would be major. He's giving UGA a shot, but in the end it will be Tennessee that comes out of the fray with his commitment. When was this LV? If this was as of today, I might change my mind on what I've been saying. the fact that he is going back to Athens again, this time with his family, is not a good sign IMO.I don't get why you think that's odd. I don't see how anyone could see it as anything but a bad sign.
Yea, other than posters on here saying where theres smoke blah blah. His recruitment and everything he is doing says Georgia. 2 unofficials and an official and coming to UT for the Georgia game. Yea, that sounds like a UT lock to me.
