'10 GA RB Mack Brown

Urban Meyer is a real-deal low life. He doesn't even give a damn enough about the kids to let them make sure they're making the right choice.

He had all year to make up his mind. Now he waits until the final 2 weeks to visit 2 bitter rivals? No way. If Brown makes those visits then I would be surprised if he was part of this class. We will go after Baxter and if he says no then we use that scholarship on another position. We are very tight on numbers and after what happened last year there is no way we hold a spot for Brown with him visiting FSU and UT late in the process.

Ok, you have completely missed my point, but it's cool. Meyer brought this on himself, then wants to renig on a promise that he made to a parent. It's all good.
You think urban would tell a recruit " I won't look at any other guys as long as you committ to us", without a more than verbal committment? You honestly expect any coach, even your own, to hold faith in a kids word and then on NSD if he signs with another program leaving you nothing? Get real

Sorry, no dice. Had the whole Urban Meyer quitting thing not occurred, I might agree a little more. However, UF's entire coaching staff has basically turned over, and no one really knows if Meyer will ever coach again. The kid has every right to take his visits and make sure he's making the right decision.

Blame your head coach; not Mack Brown.

:salute:

I agree with your opinion. All these classes are starting to get tight. And these schools WILL have a couple of spots left on NSD for top flight commits they believe are coming.

These teams are no OLE' Miss and do not need to oversign. They have their eyes on exactly who they want and if Brown is still searching and he is not a MUST need then I would let him fly away also.

Ut has the same type of problem with James Stone. Fly away starling, fly away.. LOL!!!

That's what he told Mack's father. So, don't shoot the messenger bud.

This is a recruiting board!!! Quit making so much sense.:)

Taking visits, doesn't equal a decommitment. All I am saying is, don't promise things you don't intend on staying true to.

So what you are saying is that Florida should sit back and twiddle their thumbs while Brown takes a visit to Tennessee 3 days before NSD? No way because then there is a very real chance that Brown screws us at the end and signs with FSU or UT on NSD before we can get a chance to even bring in another RB.

Things change when you start taking OV's to rival schools just days before NSD. Urban will not do what he did last year with Nuke. We could of had another good WR but we passed because we thought Nuke was committed. Well Meyer learned from that mistake and it won't happen again. If Mack Brown doesn't cancel his FSU and UT visits after this weekend's visit to UF, we will go HARD after Baxter and recruit as if we have 5 available spots and not 4.

I agree with you. And if the kid is going to shop himself around then UF has every right to look at other options. That's just the way it is and the way it will be if Mack takes these late visits.

Once again, not arguing the thought process, arguing that you don't make a promise and then renig on it later.

So I'm assuming that Mack browns father or someone directly in contact with him announced that urban promised they wouldn't look at anyone else? You all want to put meyer in a negative spotlight any way you can. It's pretty obvious recruits love him. I think their opinions on his character make a much bigger statement than a bunch of posters on a rival board

So, why not leave this board then if you don't value differing opinions?? That's just too simple for some people though.

lmao at Meyer's character. affair. lied about resigning. told Snead that Tebow was an LB. yep, great character...

K so you know for a fact he had an affair, and I guess you also know for a fact that urban fully intended on making tebow a qb from the get-go, he didn't decide after tebow was on campus or even after Snead de-committed what role tebow would play?

Lane kiffin on the other hand asked a recruit to lie to another program up until NSD. Great moral character there

Haha all 3 are based on pure speculation, but the first 2 seem worse in my opinion..

But I've got my orange tinted glasses on, and you have your jorts.. So..

The irony in the jorts thing coming from Tennessee fans is un-real. My mom lives in Murfreesboro, tn so I get to experience the highly intelligent, up to date on the latest fashion trend tennesseeans a couple times a year.

Find where I said Kiffin was a saint like you believe Meyer is...

And yes, he had an affair and yes he knew exactly what position Tebow was gonna play...

Can we excuse this troll already?
