Wow...this has Ed O's signature all over it.

If you ever read Meat Market, you'd see that O is a master at finding the hidden gems.

Great stuff.

Love it.

He is built similar to current Denver Bronco Knowshon Moreno. Bennett has wide shoulders, muscular upper body and powerful-looking legs. He can pass block, run block, has soft hands and will just flat wear out a defense with his physical running style. Bennett is also a smart, high-character kid. What will separate him from the rest of the players on his team are his incredible hands and body control as a receiver, especially for a big back.

RB RAJAAN BENNETT, 5-11/210, POWDER SPRINGS (GA.) MCEACHERN
CONSIDERING: Right now it is down to Kentucky and Vanderbilt, with both visits set for January.
PERFORMANCE: Rushed for 25 yards and one touchdown and added two catches for 17 yards for the Americans. He only played in the first half because he suffered a minor ankle injury.
STRENGTHS: Has excellent overall size, good vision, allows his blocks to set up and showed phenomenal hands out of the backfield.
WEAKNESSES: Could improve his break-away speed just a tad.

Bennett's numbers were all-star like for McEachern in 2009. The 5-foot-11, 210-pounder rushed for 1,875 yards and 29 touchdowns, helping the Indians to a 10-1 record.

If hes so unheralded I expected him to atleast be lightning quick if we were pursuing.

I'm not so sure "unheralded" is the right word. Dude is a 4star and the #16 RB in the country. That means he is ranked about 10 spots higher than guys like Storm Johnson, Ken Malcome, Mustafa Greene, Nicholas Parker, and Brandon Gainer. He is a member of the Rivals250 and checks in at #236. Sounds pretty dang legit to me...

that school produces a ton of talent

Trae Golden goes there...

Dude's a horse. He wants to be in the SEC and UK/Vandy are his only two SEC offers. Surely we can beat them out if we want him..
