Last year's drafted RB's 40-times at the combine:

Knowshon Moreno = 4.63
Beanie Wells = 4.59
Shonn Greene = 4.72
Rashad Jennings = 4.64
James Davis = 4.61
Javon Ringer = 4.60
Glen Coffee = 4.58
Jeremiah Johnson = 4.67

These guys are now making professional football money. Can we please realize that there are more attributes to a player than his 40 time? Everytime I see someone post Bray's 40 time, or everytime I see a new profile for a skill player with 4.6+ speed I know what's coming at least once in that thread.

underrated back. Our analyst is very high on him and feels he's right up there with Ken/Mack. Very good pickup for whoever gets him.

McCeachern usually fields a decent team I believe. He plays at the highest level of competition in the state, and even if that were the worst region in AAAAA, it would be pretty good comp. Most seem to think he's just like Ken Malcome with a touch more top end speed. I think the two are very comparable, and he would be a good get for someone. I believe schools were hesitant to offer based on some injuries during his junior year, but that could be wrong...Either way, most people who have seen him live say he's a SEC caliber back.

Great vision and balance, pretty quick and powerful. He is definitely a solid RB. McEachern plays against pretty solid competition in AAAAA, probably one of the weaker regions in AAAAA, but it's still the highest classification in GA

more thoughts. there has not been one negative thing said about him yet which is VERY rare on the MB...

I was under the impression that we would only go after an elite back this year, but this kid seems like a good young man and it seems he would fit in nicely with the Vols.

I highly doubt any "elite" back would come here considering our current depth chart at RB.
