'10 GA RB Rajion Neal

I havnt seen Bennett at all. Im interested to see how this plays out tho... One of the reasons Rajion Neal has kind of soured on Miss St is all the other back they are bringing in early. Rajionis looking to play early where ever he goes. I also know that was the pitch coach Dooley made to him. Come up and play early. Not sure if a Bennett commitment would mean anything or not.

I don't see Neal getting any carries if Brown, Poole, Oku, and Williams are healthy. I do however, think he could play a vital role on kick-offs.

From what I have heard of Bennett he is the more physical back. Neal is all about speed and vision. The only guy I saw run Neal down this year was Storm Johnson. And Rajion had just had a 60 yard run called back the play before.

What Raijon needs to improve on isnt physical. He needs to hit the hole harder and not dance quite as much. Nance lacks arm strength. You really cant see the difference in the two ?

arm strength is not that hard of a thing to improve. better S&C training, better mechanics, etc. also, accuracy is a lot more important than arm strength. leinart ran that usc offense to perfection, and he had average arm strength at best.

I see the difference, my point is you are so set on one person being able to improve and another person not. Arm strength is not hard to improve. Just being with a QB coach everyday will help him improve his mechanics, which will automatically improve everything he does. Then a college level S&C program will improve his....wait for it... strength! I think you just do not like Nance, but whatever, your opinion and mine doesn't matter.

I have nothing against Nance. I had a high opinion of him based on reputation until I saw him play for myself. I just think worst case scenario for UT is Nance signs and Rogers doesnt. It really is a wasted Scholarship.

At this point, I don't really think anyone would be a wasted scholarship. Our numbers are to low.

There are some new highlights up from Rajion. I havnt seen them yet but they supposedly have all his kick off returns from this year. You guys seen them yet?

Good to take a rb in every class...with this said he could be moved to outside lb with his body type.

Neal is the 9th best back on Rivals I believe. So he should be helpful. And if we got him he would put us close to the top ten of class rankings again.

I do have a question: where does he fit in since we have Brown, Oku, Poole, Williams, and maybe Bennett if he commits? Would Neal move to a linebacker position like some here speculate? Glad he committed though.

No, if anyone moves it will be Bennett.
Rajion isnt physical enough to play LB.

Neal is RB all the way. Besides, you never know when someone might get hurt or transfer.
