'10 GA WR Markeith Ambles - USC Commit

One player who impressed and perhaps surprised everyone was local cornerback Ricardo Allen from up the road at Daytona (Fla.) Mainland. Allen isn't huge at 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, but he was the best cover cornerback at the event overall. He has excellent feet and terrific instincts. The only player to beat him badly on Friday was Tennessee-bound wide receiver Markeith Ambles, who ran such a great downfield slant that Allen lost his footing. Beyond that, he was always in the area of the football.

He seemed pretty confident that we would have a QB this year. Besides Brunetti, what other qbs could he be in contact with?

Ambles said he would call any quarterback the staff wanted him to call. Hopefully he has been in contact with Bray.

I love Ambles length and the way he catches with his hands. He goes and gets the ball. He is going to be a star.

1) Markeith Ambles, 6-2/182, McDonough (Ga.) Henry County

Ambles was one of the four prospects to receive unanimous status at his position. He ran great routes, set up defenders well, got separation and made some circus catches. He has the ability to turn it on when he wants to and simply dominate. This was his best camp performance since the U.S. Army Combine back in January.

Best WR at the top gun camp.

I know that, I just don't think there is a receiver with better ball skills than him. Ambles kills it in the camps and should have a dominant year in Henry County.
