Ambels looked great making those acrobatic catches! But his reviews were dead on in that he makes the tough catches but can lose focus and struggle with the easy ones.

R u sure MDBJJC? We weren't in his final three when he gave his verbal is what most sources were saying at the time.

I always thought we were his fifth school, i thought his order was USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Illinois, Tennessee. Becuase he never seemed to talk about Tennessee except for in the begining when he made his official.

I did too. These are just rumors from the TOS.

I cannot comment on the veracity of these claims.

It will be very interesting what happens with his recruitment.

He has to make a decision very soon since he is suppose to EE at USC (I think this week)

Yeah he was suppose to on his way to USC as we speak, but not anymore. I hope we can get Prater or Rogers. All though IMO Rogers is more of the complete package.

I had the vision back in the summer before Prater committed that we would have Prater and Milton on either side. Twin Towers...remember?

Ambles could use some work on his jump butt bump celebration move...he about killed himself after that big catch!!!

1. Scout has Ambles as SOFT VERBAL.

2. Scout has Ambles as the 15th ranked receiver... watching film of all those ahead of him & all star games he is definitely in the top 3... one word: SMOOTH.

if the QBs in this game were better Ambles would have had big numbers..was wide open alot..also way too many illegal formation calls that called back two of his catches(its an all star game no reason to call so many of those)

depending on how stephens or bray plays next year this may turn out to be a good thing.

Ambles had a dynamic, leaping reception into the middle of the field that nearly set up an early East touchdown before a Palardy field goal attempt was blocked. Ambles never doubted the catch �" even though he didn't always see the ball.

"I just saw the ball in the air, and I just tried to attack," he said. "After the game the DB asked me how I had seen it, and I was like, 'I don't even know. When it came, I just tried to attack the ball.' When I felt it, I grabbed it."

Did Ambles ever doubt it?

"No, because I plan on catching every ball. So I just grabbed it," he said.

Ambles again indicated he carried an extra chip on his shoulder to earn a fifth star in the recruiting rankings.

"I just came out and showed everybody that I can play and that I am a five-star guy," Ambles said. "They need to go ahead and give me that."
