Mr. Wrestling #1 and Mr. Wrestling #2. Bar none! #2 had the best snap-nare takedown of all time and #1 had learned the sleeper hold from Tony Atlas. Just ask Olie and Gene Anderson how good they were.

A little off topic here, but "Sensational" Sherri Martel passed away yesterday morning.

Sherri was one of the most legendary females in the history of wrestling...she was an accomplished women's champion in the AWA and WWF, but really made her mark as a manager -- managing greats like Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Ted Dibiase, and Shawn Michaels.

She was 49.

Paul Orndorff and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka

I watched the two of them beat the tag champs, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Baron Von Raschke, in a non-title match way back when on Mid-Atlantic Wrestling.

Mid-Atlantic was, I think, one of the primary forerunners of the WCW, featuring Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Orndorff, Snuka, the Iron Shiek, Tony Atlas, Ken Patera, Mr. Wrestling, and so on.
