Why would you think he made this up? I mean out of all the crap posted on here this is far from impossible that he did talk to him on facebook.

I guess we can look at it this way. USC views him as a great talent because the University of Tennessee is recruiting him. Guess we're doing something right...

Nah..that doesn't make it any better. What is up with them, honestly?

Ambles, Loften, Stanley, Green. The list goes on I'm sure. Are they really going to try that hard to ruin our class?

Next thing thats going to happen is Dave Clark is going to extend his recruitment and visit USC...but its because the arse and the ogre think he's a legit talent, not because we're recruiting him.

I just posted a quote from the article were he says what dude says. I do not think he made up info it is from article. Go try to add Stanley as a friend on FB. The fact is you cannot due to his privacy settings.

I know want this guy to sign more than any other prospect. Even if he doesn't pan out, he can always be one the guy that helped us stick it to X.

On the USC front page of their Rivals site it has an article saying how great Orgeron is at breaking down film and finding players SC otherwise wouldn't have looked at. Enter Glen Stanley.....OUR Glen Stanley.

I love how Coach O gets the credit when all they did was see the pub we got for signing the guy and then all of a sudden they reel him in for a visit.

People were freaking out about Loften last weekend so just chill out and hope that Stanley is a wise young man and can see through the trouble that is brewing in SoCal.

yeah go try to add him and like i did and the next day see if he sends you a request back cause thats how it happened with me.I wasn't trying to show any one up but some of you act like since i heard something before you did that i am fake or a liar. Believe what you need to.

You obviously don't know how facebook works. I'm not saying the guy talked to him or not, but just beause the guy has a privacy setting does not mean you can't be friends with him. He just has to accept your request and then you can chat as much as you like. And trust me.....even though I don't do it, people accept friend requests from unknown people ALL THE TIME.

What concerns me about the recruits we are getting is the fact that they are not, IMO, quality recruits. If you look at John Brown, Glen Stanley (who is probably going to USC now), and couple of others, they are having difficulty even qualifying academically. Add in a few reaches such as Sapp, Crump, Propst, and Jackson and this recruting class falls of the table real quick. The lack of interior line prospects as well as LB's is concerning as well. The thing about Alabama and Florida that is so frustrating is that they are recruiting and getting 4 star and 5 star blue chippers who are actually qualifying academically. Tennessee's recruiting classes since 2005 have really been hit hard by non qualifying players. We need to sign players who are great on and off the field.

Was watching Stanley's youtube highlights. I want this kid to come to TN. He is gonna be a stud.

There is no adding him that is my point...he has it set so you cannot even request to add. You would have to write to him then he would have to add you. Dude just said he tried to add him. It is not possible. It is of no consequence just interesting what people do for e cred.

You guys sure?? I've seen nothing on both Rivals & Scout about him even having an offer, a visit, or anything this past weekend. Nothing new on him since his Vol commitment. USC isn't listed as an interest even. This would really suck if he doesn't end up in orange.

Here's what Stanley said upon committing to Tennessee:

He also told Tennessee media outlets that he wasn't heavily recruited by former Vols coach Lane Kiffin, but the new Tennessee staff showed greater interest in him and made him feel comfortable about committing to the school.
