Acosta projects to be one of the top kickers in the nation next year. We will need someone to kick 45-yard field goals, if we're going to win any games on last second field goals.

I wonder if he would take a lottery scholarship and receive an athletic scholarship for year two. I know many coaches don't want to use scholarships on kickers.

He has a 4.0 GPA, so it wouldn't be hard for him to get there on an academic scholarship.

He looks like he's got a good leg though. 60 yards for the first kick is really impressive.

The onside kicks even looked good as well. He's popping them up.

Then its like, oh, he got bumped down to 6.

He did have the best kickoff hangtime by like 3 tenths of a second I think though.

If a kicker usually scores the most points for a team, why shouldn't we give our kicker a scholarship? This kids got great range and accuracy as a HS kicker, and most importantly, he knows how to use Youtube to sell himself.
