It wasn't because of your DL. Its because of a muffed punt, a pick six, and a snap way over our QBs head.

Your DL was getting torn up by a mediocre Heritage OL

"I talk to the coaches at Alabama probably three times a week now. It's usually Coach Pendry and Coach Sal but Coach Saban has been talking to me more and more lately," Kouandjio said.

"I'm talking to all the coaches from my seven top schools pretty regularly now. I've asked them to all call me on different days at least so it doesn't get too overwhelming. I'm really not going to be making any visits or any decisions at all until the season is over but it's important to me that I keep my relationships going with all the coaches so that I get a feel for which coaching staff I feel the most comfortable with."

I believe he is number one on our boards right now. Plus the bonus with him is his little brother for the 2011 class. Many believe he will follow his older brother to a school.

Arie-
Position rank OG # 14
Height 6'5"
Weight 321 lbs
Class 2010

Cyrus-
Ht:6'7"
verifiedWt:322 lbs
verified40:5 secs
Class:2011

Arie has alot of upside but Cyrus has more. Remeber Cyrus is only 16yo right now with a man's body and plays both sides of the ball.

Cyrus > Arie

I agree so a great package deal. I think are chances with Arie are really good, but I would put UT right there atleast above the other schools on his lists. I Believe we have a slight lead. Just reading articles they seem to want to play with each other and both won't to play in the SEC. Cyrus has commented in the past that UA and UT are two schools he really likes.

Right now with Arie I think UA 1st and UT 2nd but not by much. I think it might be closer then many realize.

Could Cyrus play on either side of the ball for us or would he try to help our weak Oline? Any chance we could get both?

I think most schools see him on the OL(Cyrus), but I think they go together. Arie said he is waiting for after the season to make up his mind so he can focus on his senior year, but I think it also has to do with where he thinks his little bro goes or might go. They both seem to visit schools together in the spring and over the summer.

I think a school can get both if they wany them, but we will see.

Don't forget about the Canes for this kid.....

I would love to have them both as well. But he is really high on Miami from all I have read. I know Bama is making a strong push and may get him but I would put the Canes at least even with UT. This one could take awhile to play out....

Atleast even with UT what do you mean?

Tidewarrior had basically said he thought it would come down to Bama and UT. I do believe Bama may have a slight lead but you have to put the Canes in there with UT and Bama as a contender for his services.

I think every school sees him as a star on the o-line. I think Bama has the inside track on Kouandjio right now.

Do you think everyone sees Arie as being a star or do you think the fact his brother likely comes as well is a big reason this kid is getting all this attention?

Arie is legit. No doubt, but yeah, I think you put him a little higher up on your board because of his brother.

Even though I am the most worthless poster here I believe we need arie very very bad.

From watching his film he looks like a very good player. Really athletic for someone that size. I think he is similar to Juwan James. I think both end up inside at guard though. But I know if I had to chose. I would take him because of his brother. I am not sure without Cyrus. That is compared to James. Either way his film is very impressive. If we can't get him. I hope he ends up a cane.
