'10 MN OL Seantrel Henderson

from espn...
Elite ESPNU 150 Watch List offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson is holding over 50 scholarship offers. According to affiliate Web site OUInsider.com, he has started trimming his list.

He said, "Right now it is not official, but I like Minnesota, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Iowa, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and LSU. There are some other schools, but that would be my top choices right now."

Henderson also shared what he's looking for, "I want to know the teams' depth chart and who they have coming in. I want to know if they are going to have a nice quarterback and who else they have on the offensive line. Then just being comfortable around the team and on campus, and finding a school where I can be at for the next four years, or maybe even five. I can play in any offense, and distance from home doesn't really matter."
Notre Dame, Michigan State, South Carolina, Oregon, Boston College and North Carolina are a few of the other programs that have extended offers.

Additionally, Henderson calls basketball his favorite sport and has been offered on the hardwood by Marquette and St. Louis.

:hmm: havent heard that quote before. gah getting Scroggins right now is the number 1 priority for this staff because if they want immediate help from other positions, they have to have an elite qb in this class to get them to seriously consider us.

OL Seantrel Henderson (6-8 325) of St. Paul, MN plans a visit to USC this summer. "I'm going to visit South Carolina, North Carolina, FSU, Florida, Southern Cal, UCLA, and Michigan," said Henderson. He says he has a preexisting relationship with Eric Wolford. "Yeah, I knew him when he was at Illinois," he said. Henderson says he has offers from every SEC, ACC, and Big Ten school as well as Southern Cal and UCLA. Henderson says USC interests him. "Of course, they've got (Steve) Spurrier and their team is getting better every year," said Henderson. He says playing time is important to him, but not the only thing he is considering. "I want to play but if there is a senior in front of me that I have to wait on, that's just the way it is," he said. 'I want to play but I want to feel comfortable at the school too." Henderson says being comfortable with the school, the city, and the coaches are what he is looking for. He does not have any favorites.

I am glad he is coming to see us on an unofficial. He might be one of those kids that doesn't sign up until after NSD.

He would honestly be a good fit for them. They've recently had some good guard play but lacked a good big man. I've never seen him play basketball but he seems to fit that role well haha

It sounds as though he lied to Hubbs. Im planning to interview him soon (he's one hard person to get in touch with though) and i'll try to find out then if he is indeed planning to visit/ is interested in us.

jmva1,

When you find out let us know. We need to paint the rock for this kid when he gets here.

The thought of possibly landing the #1 player in the country two years in a row really gets me pumped.

Why don't we paint the rock for Seantrel and then get him to wear a T-shirt for Scroggrins?

Both displays would be about the same size.
