'10 MN OL Seantrel Henderson

I hope he realizes that if he goes to Miami he will have played in front of bigger crowds in high school.

Living in Lauderdale I root for the Canes but the fact of the matter is they play in front of a half empty stadium. The only time people show up is if they are are playing a rival or top program. Even though the Orange Bowl was a POS the enviroment was way better than it is at whatever they call the stadium now.

The team sucks nobody should ever be dominated by Wisconsin!!

Go Canes... At least in this race.

Everyone in our little Kiffy - USC / Dooley - UT universe is starting to ingest the karma.

I abso-frickin-lutely love it.

Minn paper: Seantrel Henderson in Miami on Sat: Evidence exists Kiffin assured him no major penalties coming & that may be used in waiver.

- Bruce Feldman

Good luck miamicane! :good!:

Its a tweet from Feldman.

Seantrel was in Miami on Saturday.

I think he's headed there whether he gets a waiver or not.

Eh - the game attendance part is some what accurate (not the extent of having played in front of larger crowds at a high school game in Minnesota).. can't deny that - it has been embarrassing at times over the past few years considering how much tradition the Miami football program has.

kiffin said they were "having to re-recruit him" haha.....sad part is him and orgeron will probably convince the kid to go to usc in the end. seems like they usually get their guy

Not on this one they don't. Too bad, so sad for ol kiffy

Henderson & his dad actually believed what Kiffin said?

I've got some ocean front property in NM to sell to them! :)

Psst: Seantrel Henderson, the 6-foot-8, 350-pound Cretin-Derham Hall offensive lineman who committed to Southern California before the Trojans were severely penalized by the NCAA, was in Miami on Saturday. The Hurricanes were believed to be Henderson's second choice behind USC, which has been futilely waiting for him to report.

Henderson would have to be released from his tender by USC to be eligible to play elsewhere next season. Evidence exists that USC coach Lane Kiffin assured Henderson there would be no major penalties for football, and that could be used in a waiver request to leave USC.

Edit: It's a blog, so you have to navigate your way through it to find the text. I posted everything it says.

Assume that Kiffin, in fact, told him the implementation of major sanctions would allow him to get a waiver from his LOI to USC. Is this true? If it is not true, and NCAA transfer rules do not allow for the consideration of sanctions when ruling on waivers of LOIs, Kiffin is going to get worse press than ever before.

It's kind of funny that he is basing his decision on location. LA or Miami.

Supposedly his parents are moving wherever he goes and b/c they're from Minnesota they don't want to live in cold weather anymore and stated that a warm climate is one of the factors.

and his dad wants to become a rapper.

He could just come here and start up a company with BMaze, Swipper, and ADouglas.

How often do waivers like these actually work? If he does somehow get out of his LOI could this lead to more commits trying to leave USC?
