'10 MS OL Shon Coleman

God's healing hand on this young man. Prayers for him and the family and the Auburn community.

Good luck to Shon battling this, my dad was just diagnosed with cancer too. It seems like this is befalling more and more of us in some way as the years go on. Thoughts and prayers to the Coleman family and hopefully he can get back to doing what he loves to do soon.

Thanks to all the well wishers on VolNation. The news was taken very hard down here. Keep Shon and his family in your thoughts.

They were talking about this on local sports radio yesterday. I am hoping that he comes out on the other end of this as a success story.

**This is the Easter morning update on Auburn signee Shon Coleman, who is battling cancer. It's written by his mother, De Keishia Tunstall:

"First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter!!! The last couple of days have been a walk in the park for Shon. No pain of any kind. He did have a little nausea yesterday morning, but he was able to keep his food down and take the medicine he was prescribed to relieve this symptom. His appointments Friday all went well, but I can tell this reality is setting in for him. I would watch him stare into space at times, and I know that he was thinking about the illness...Blood counts were all normal. Still no cancer in his blood, and that's indicative of what's going on in his bone marrow. He began this battle with cancer cells making up 60% of his bone marrow. Another test will be done during week 8. If it's 0%, were in remission."

So far so good. Let's keep praying for him.
