'10 MS OL Shon Coleman

Ole Miss is reported to be out of the picture. Ole Miss' guy McCready says 95% to Bama. Never know though.

I thought somethin was up when Saban did an in home with Shon and sent Asst.'s to Stone last week. Seemed like Saban had worked really hard on Stone, what 3 years?

Seems as though Saban sees something in Stone he really likes. I hate to settle, but settling for a 5* OL currently committed to Auburn ain't bad. It's almost worth giving ya'll Stone just to see their reactions.

No ya'll win wither way, and looks like we're gonna come up one short, maybe 2...how many spots do you have left?

Well, we lost Keenan Allen. So with the recent pickups of Arie K. and Dequan Menzie it puts us at 26. We had NO room to backcount this year due to a full class last year and 3 greyshirts. So that leaves us with two spots. Most likely we'll sign one more, unless their is a surprise commit on NSD. We have a few on the academic cutline, so who knows what happens there. But I think we'll sign 27 of 28 this year and if we end up with an extra scholly, we'll use it to backcount for next year's class, which is getting a LOT of hype early. Bama could come away huge next year. Of course, I'm hearing this from Bama folks. :p

Well, congrats on the NC and good luck tomorrow...I've had enough.

A bunch of people see something in Stone. He has all the potential in the world to be an All-SEC type guard.

If e don't get him (which appears to be the case), I'd rather him go to the Barn that Bama. Need to get Auburn to the point of beating Bama every other year or so

There are reports out that Coleman has cancer and is now taking chemo. God bless him.

Horrible news.
I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer last April. Everytime I hear someone get diagnosed with cancer mmy eyes start filling up ...

I hope Shon pulls thru and lives a Long active Life

Suppose to be one of the greatest times in this kids life and he is hit with this. In the words of the great Reggie White "God places the heaviest burden on those who can carry its weight." I pray that Shon and his family can find solace in God during this difficult time.

Lost my aunt earlier this year to breast cancer. Prayers for him and his family.

Lost my Mom and Mother-in-Law over the last couple years to cancer (at way too young of ages). I hope Shon uses his strength to fight this and get back to living life!! My prayers are with him.
