I kind of thought we might hear something tonight about Robinson, maybe ...really no news on him since saturday.

Brent Hubbs said on VQ a few minutes ago that he had made his choice and informed the schools tonight. So TIFWIW but if we hear anything about Glass you can bet it involves Robinson because Hubbs said Robinson won't personally say anything til tomorrow

If Robinson commits to us without even taking a visit...that right there is some darn good recruiting, I don't care who you are!

Hate to be a downer but this is what ESPN has on their "On the Trail" Page:

Four-star lineman Damien Robinson to announce on Signing Day
ESPNU 150 offensive tackle Damien Robinson of Olive Branch, Miss., is ready to decide among Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Mississippi State.

They aren't even giving UT a chance, but I wouldn't expect the 4 letter to give us anything good

It was announced a few minutes ago on our rivals board that Robinson has three sets of LOI papers ready for the morning: Miss St, Arkansas, and UT. So we are definately in it. If I were you I would trust ESPN about as much as I would X

I'm not counting on it at all, in fact it would shock me if we got him. Choosing to attend college at a campus you've never seen? I wouldn't do it. So IF we land him, CDD needs to get mad props for his recruiting.

I'm not counting on it either, I'm just sharing info I got from Hubbs' post. I think we have a better shot than alot of people are saying tho.

About ESPN: Those guys sporadically update their stuff.
I don't know if there's anybody worse than they are. Out of date more often than not. Heck, their ranking on the front of their recruiting page hasn't been updated since Jose Jose left bible school this summer in his Speedo.

I think we have a great chance to land Robinson. I can't imagine what would make him choose Mississippi State over UT. I say he's a VOL. We'll see...

Perhaps, the proximity to mama's homecooking and the fact he's never been on UT's campus. Other than that...I hope we land him.:p

Remember though, he has Marlon Walls in his ear about UT too. It's not just the coaches. I believe we have a shot. With Marlon talking to him, I'm not sure he really has to make the visit. I'm sure Marlon has filled him in on the facilities and the coaches.

Let's hope so. This would be an awesome pull.
